Acura TLX Seat Comfort

How comfortable are the Acura TLX seats? I really like the 2016/2017 Honda Accord Touring, with all the features, tech, and value, but I found the seats too uncomfortable to purchase one.

The TLX seats seemed very comfortable from short test drive, but since TLX is based on Accord, wanted to see how owners liked the seats, especially the 2018 TLX Tech, A-Spex, & Advance.

Seriously? Subjective opinion and personal "taste" both heavily in play here. Decisions based on such are often poor--IMO.

I have done this multiple times. They seemed much better than Accord. I have read a lot of complaints about Accord seats, so just wanted to pose the question.

This is the very same reason I bought the TLX over the Accord.

I have the 2015 SH-AWD/TLX/Tech
I'm 6'0, & 168lbs.
Seats are ok, but I wish they would raise up higher from the rear

The only (very minor) complaint I have with the (2015) TLX seats is the same complaint I have with my (2014) MDX which is the seat base is a bit too short for my legs, I wish it had the seat extender that the 2018 (A-Spec only?) does.

The seat themselves are quite nice but Ive never cared the seating position in my TLX. Usually I like the seats in a car to be low, with your legs out in front of you, and the steering wheel almost in my lap. The problem with the TLX is when I lower my seat and steering wheel to their lowest setting, the steering wheel is still too bus like and the belt line too sports car like. If I raise the seat up to a more chair like position, I put a ton of pressure on my lower back and thighs. I could blame it on only being 5'6, but almost every other TLX driver I have seen on the road looks very low slung behind the wheel of their TLXs.

I believe the seat extender is in the 2018 Techs and above. I also have long legs and the seat, without an extender, is a little too short. The thigh extender is a great feature!
