When receiving your new car did your key have slight scuffs/fine scratches on the clear plastic acura logo

Pretty sure the answer should always be "no" when you are asking about a new car (or anything that you're paying a lot of money for).

My FOB had a little cling wrap around it and they removed it just prior to handing it to me. It looked like the dealer put it on themselves, which is probably a great idea.

If you aren't satisfied with what the dealer gave you then have you tried to talk to them about it?

Mine did. wasn't a big enough deal to make a fuss over. It'd get those same light scratches after a week of being on my keychain anyway.

I'm more interested in if anyone's found a FOB cover? I had an awesome leather cover for my kia that I picked up on ebay for $10...

I thought I was the only one not happy about it. Mine had fine scratches but I knew it was going to happen anyways.

I'm actually picking up a ILX A-Spec and know they have the same key so I was curious. The dealership told me that they have scuffs as soon it comes out of the sleeve. Poor quality control by Acura. Packaging protective film should atleast be on it.

hi i tried replacing the battery on my key fob and accidently broke the chrome clip inside will that affect the fob not to work please reply soon thanks
