Auto Heat & Cool Seats
Technology is a beautiful thing!
After you set all your Climate Controls to AUTO; (fan, seats, temperature, etc.), the heated seats come on, when the vehicle is cold; (sitting outside)
Conversely, the seat heat shuts OFF, when the cabin temp. reaches your desired setting
Also, the mode, is auto as well; changes, during your ride
Never had this tech, in any previous Acura
Is this native to all TLX models, or just the A-SPEC/SH-AWD?
Pretty cool!

Unless I am not understanding, my Advance has always functioned this way.
In fact if I changed anything manually (bumped the seats up to max heat for example), but don't hit auto again before exiting the vehicle, then the next time I remote start the car, the seat heaters don't turn on.

Yeah, my Advanced had this. I think the Tech package and up had it. The only one that may not have had it was the base model, but I could be wrong. If I remember correctly, the climate control is connected to the GPS, too.

That is definitely cool, too. Although, I'm not sure if there are many applications where GPS based climate control is necessary. Still a really cool feature, though.

Yeah nice feature. Cars are getting smarter & smarter. Some extra high end cars are using GPS & Terrain maps to pre-select shift & throttle patterns for high performance running.

My 2018 Elite 2.4 Aspec has the auto heated and cooled seats, which is fabulous, including coming on with Remote Start, my 2015 3.5 Tech and and my 2016 2.4 Tech did not have the Auto feature.

They are ventilated seats, as per the specs, but the touch screen refers to warm and cool levels. The ventilated seats do feel cool, but I believe you are correct in suggesting they don't have cooling elements.

One of the best features of the TLX IMO. I just set to Auto and it all works.
