50K Miles!

50K Miles!
This past weekend I broke the 50K mark. I do have a Platinum extended warranty so I am not concerned, and all the issues with the vehicle thus far have been resolved to my satisfaction. The 9AT shifts so smoothly most times it feels almost like a CVT and it downshifts quickly. There are no vibrations at any speed and I regularly break 80mph on my highway drives.
I knew what I was risking when I ordered it in Aug 2014, before the first SH-AWDs were even built. But overall I have been delighted with the car, its handling is great (thanks to Michelin's finest performance AS tires), it is quiet and comfortable and fuel efficient, great sound system, I actually like the dual screen display, and I love the elegance of its lines and don't really mind the beak (although the new look is growing on me), and love the jewel-eye headlights. Would I buy another? Definitely, given the MMR improvements.

I'm sure there are probably people out there pushing 75k miles and more. I don't drive my TLX as much as I did my 3G and I'm still at around 58,000 miles.

I just passed 15k on mine. Since I took a work from home job a couple years ago I don't leave the house much - and the Wife likes to drive me around in her car when I do!

I hit 50k miles today too! The car has performed flawlessly. Just oil changes and tires.
I have a year left on my lease, so I hope the great reliability continues now that the warranty ended.
This is my 4th and favorite Acura yet. Always recommending the TLX to my buddies with Q40s and IS250s :p

Got 61K on my 2015 TLX Advance. Current commute is 1hr one way hwy miles. Will drop down to 15min city next month. Still getting the hard shift from 1st to 2nd. Oil change this weekend. Looking at getting some new tires to quiet the cabin. Will try to resist the 2018s.

I am planning to keep this another 4 years, since I own it, until my son is out of college. By then hopefully Acura will have an all-electric sports sedan with the motors outboard to leverage its SH-AWD algorithms, like the all-electric NSX and CRZ they have been prototyping.

Nice to hear.
On a similar note, I finally had time to swap from the stock Goodyears that I run in the winter back to my Michelin PSS tires on 19's for the summers...Soooo much better.
I originally didn't like the Goodyears, but now as the miles have crept up, they are really getting bad, and howl, and squeal in situations where they are only being pushed very moderately. I haven't cracked 30k yet, (probably at least 20k on the goodyears) and not sure how much longer I'll keep the. They have great treadwear/life, but their handling is just so poor.
