2018 TLX 2.4 Base inventory

Is anyone else having trouble finding a 4 cyl Base model? I’ve been to 3 dealers in the Hudson Valley, NY area and they have no base models in stock.

Of course they try to sell the tech model, but that’s another $75/ month on a lease.... not worth it in my
book.

Is Acura already wrapping up production on 2018 models?

The lease deals are probably keeping inventory low. Also there's so many different models of the 18 TLX that one dealer probably doesn't have that much room for a lot of one specific model.

4 cylinder base is "somewhat" low in supply and high in demand (attractive lease). Additionally, production for TLXs won't resume until March. They will run even thinner as time goes by. Dealerships should receive their next allocation in April.

Even though it's an hour drive away from me my dealer of choice is Smithtown in LI (I live in the BX). They too don't have a ton of base models (just 1).
Honestly I think Tech is totally worth it for the real leather, ELS sound, rain sensing wipers, color MID, blind spot, rear traffic detection, and while outdated useful GPS system

For spits and giggles, I looked at my preferred dealer's inventory. They've got four base models in stock, but 12 base/tech in stock. Even the base model has Apple Carplay/Android Auto and the CMBS/etc.

So the OP's issue is likely a local one, probably because of the lease deals. There's a $199/month lease deal running around here for a base TLX (not zero down, though....)

Base and Tech Lease ARE THE SAME PRICE!

Look at Acura.com lease deals. The base and the tech are the SAME. Same down payment and monthly payment. I work at an acura dealer in southern california. Bases are slim, Acura gives more money to push tech so its the same payment so just get a tech
