2018 Adv spoiler

I was looking through photos of 2018 TLX Adv. and noticed the spoiler on the Advance models are the sames as the A-Spec spoiler but color matched. Could anybody confirm? I found the part number for the White (71700-TZ3-A01ZE).

I've noticed the same thing. Looks a lot better than the other accessory spoiler in my opinion. I've been debating picking one up, but also want a different car so maybe.

I might be mistaken but I think that was the deck lid spoiler for the 2015-2017 model years. I think after the MMC the decklid spoiler changed and the A-Spec and the Advanced are the same except for the color.

I don't know for sure but the pics make it look different after the MMC but it looks like the A-Spec and Advanced are the same or very similar

The A-Spec spoiler it totally different. Its thinner and only goes on the lip of the trunk. Whereas the previous spoiler on the other models covers some of the trunk deck and lip along with being color matched.

Nice fine on the pic. I do think it comes in color match for the adv.

Also, has anybody noticed the base model rear bumper is still the same as the 15-17 models?

Yes the bumper is the same besides the V6 ones.

I found a flaw in this cheap spoiler though. all the online parts places want $130+ to ship it. If I go to the dealer then i pay retail uggghhh

Just so everyone knows, if you find an online parts website, like acurapartswarehouse.com or bernardiparts.com, the dealers will price match and you dont have to pay shipping! Now I'm trying to figure out a way to attach my 2018 advance spoiler to my '15.

The rear spoiler does look nice. Is there one that will fit the 2019 v6 tech?

I just installed my 2018 Advance Spoiler on my 2015 Tech. Not crazy about just using 3M tape in the mounting locations, but I'll let you know if it doesnt hold up.

That's some strong tape though and it looks like you have it in many places. I would check it periodically though. I'd leave that blue tape on though..lol

I actually prefer the spoiler from the non-A-Spec version.

So the tape did not hold up at all at just the mounting locations. The reason being is the mounting locations did not all touch the trunk. I ended up taking it off, reapplying tape to the mounting locations, and then laying a continuous strip of tape on the tape applied to the mounting location along the whole length of the spoiler, which also contacted all of the edges of the spoiler. I was also doing this in a 50 degree garage, so I brought out the portable heater to get the temp up to 65. And used a heat gun to get the trunk lid and spoiler up to a warm-to-the-touch, but not hot, temperature. It seemed to work flawlessly. Its extremely solid on the trunk now and has experienced freezing temps, rain, and 100mph wind. Lol. I'll keep you guys posted if something were to happen.
