Just curious, whatever the year, any way to use the remote keyfob to close the sunroof?

It works for the windows but why did they ignore the sunroof!

Can you close the windows with the remote keyfob? Thought you had to use the key in the keyhole to do that.

You might be correct. Actually I just remember doing it with my last Bimmer....

I wish it was possible with the remote. That would be very convenient. It works opening windows and sunroof, it should close them too.

It's probably a safety thing that you can't use the keyfob, i.e., kid is leaning out of the car window when parent decides to close it from inside the house. Don't let your kid play in a car but probably a lawsuit somewhere.

Yeah, figured as much. Couldn't be a technical reason. Although I thought there was some anti-pinch feature in the windows to prevent injuries. At minimum they should make it only function like the unlock system where you are in the vicinity of the car.
