2018-19 TLX A-Spec Quality Issues

Hello I just stopped by my local Acura dealership to test drive and look at the TLX with A-Spec package. I'm a very detail oriented person and noticed the rear spoiler and exterior side sills don't adhere tightly to the body of the car such that there's a bit of a gap. Is this a very normal thing on side sills and lip spoilers in general or just bad quality control from Acura? Any current owners notice this issue and have a fix for it? Thanks.

I haven't noticed this on mine, yet again I hardly drive it. Will take a closer look next time.

Correct. Not an air tight seal. No plans to fix.

I haven't noticed this with mine. Did you notice it on one or on multiple A-Specs?

I agree on side sills, but deck spoiler looks fine, I am fine since I know the side sills are add on parts anyway.

No, mine that doesn't have any issues with the spoiler. BUT be sure to check the fitment of the gas door lid. It sticks out pretty far and looks pretty bad and dealership doesn't have a fix. They will just bend it back, if you take in for repair.

So wait? I can get the gas lid fixed? I think it looks horrible. Otherwise the body kit isn’t too bad, better than most aftermarket kits I’ve seen. And the spoiler IMO is 100%.
