Have you experienced any transmission, vibration or VCM issues? I'm hoping they have been resolved b/c I really like the car! Thanks.

I have the DCT and for me, NO, not at all. You have to drive the DCT like a MT but without an additional foot pedal or you may experience some jerk. I can explain in more detail, if you'd like.

2015 and 2017 is exactly the same car. Only recalls that made to the car were software updates. You shouldn't discount a 2016 owner because 2017 and 2016 is exactly the same car. If their software is updated that is...

i concur with this, they loaned me a V4 DCT while my V6 was getting the recall software fix and I enjoyed driving the V4 more.

they loaned it to me for about two weeks and I drove about 1000 miles for work.
Although its underpowered it's enough for everyday drive which I think most of us will do. Like for work or shopping with the kids...but when you want to floor it and pass people the transmission is almost immediate. It's fast and I can't even tell it's shifting, the Duel Clutch is awesome, if they figured out how to make it for the V6 version like they did with the NSX we wouldn't need a Type-S. 295HP with 8 Speed Duel Clutch would out preform most luxury cars.
I think most people will find 200 HP with DCT will do just fine. Once you drive that car then step up to the V6 with the 9Speed you might be dissapointed. I know I am, I paid more and got less. Maybe not power but I got a much less fun car, that 9Speed is the bane of the car.
Dont take my my word for it, go test drive both cars and don't be shy to push the transmission a little. That's why they made DCT, it's meant to be quicker than anybody with a stick Manuel Transmission. I can tell you for sure the 9Speed is slow as shit. I hate Manuel but I'll drive Manuel over the 9Speed. Hope this helps.

I don't have any 2-3 shift issues. The only time I get jerk sometimes is if I'm coming to a stop but then the light changes or whatever and I'm suddenly speeding up (Or starting to speed up and having to stop/slow suddenly). But you have to be patient. I've learned to pretty much eliminate any jerk but it is a learning curve. I absolutely love the DCT and I did test drive both versions 3x before finally deciding.
