Cool 2015 TLX A- Spec

Guys im new to Acurazine, but i have been following the site since i purchased my first Acura in 2014 (TL 3g) then this yea i purchased a 15 TLX Tech!!!!

WOW the 2018 A-Spec looks bad ass literal only the ass or the rear for people who didn't get the joke... .any way i have plans on converting my 2015 tlx tech to an a- spec but im leaving the beak.
I love the front of the 5th gen and the 6th gen is hideous .. anyway to sum it up

2015 TLX with the aspec rear bumper from the 2018 model... what do you guys think?
As soon as i can do it i will upload pictures!!!

Lets talk about it any other mods recommended

2018 TLX has is good and bad. I do like the new rear but dislike the front. However, I am quite fond of the clean unexposed exhaust of our pre-mmc TLX. I rather spend that money on real exhaust performance parts. But go for it, it should look good. The new interior look great though. I would do the ambient lighting with the A-spec aluminum trim on my TLX. We will see if parts are interchangeable with our TLX.

I don't see how the front end would match up with the beak vs. pentagon grille. Have you looked into this or is this just something you'd like to do?

There is no way the front end of the 2018 would match up with the prior models unless perhaps you wanted to purchase a new hood, fenders, bumper and grill and even then after you did all that you would be better served to trade in and get the 2018 model. I do think the rear you could do but then again is the effort and expense worth it? Better to get the whole package done from the factory.

I want to do this exact thing to my '15. I just want the rear of that '18 a-spec. Rear diffuser, rear exhaust cut (not sure if I will have to modify or get the '18 muffler and tips). And I'm hoping rear parking sensors from my '15 match up to the '18. I plan on emailing Curry Acura Parts department or another Acura dealer to see if the parts are the same or at least line up the same way when the '18 has been on dealer lots for a few months. Give them time to get the parts catalog for the '18 and let them do some investigating......I don't mind being one of the first if its a plug and play scenario. if its custom molding, I may have to fall back and re-assess. Im close to paying the '15 off so I dont really want to start over with a new car payment.

Did you not read and understand what OP said? He just wants to do a rear conversion from the 2018 TLX A SPEC to his 2015 model.

I'm also thinking of getting the aspec bumper too but I wasn't sure if it would fit but based on some of the replies here it sounds like it can
