Here's the link to the TLX "sneak peak" the prior images came from:

I'm not sure how to make the video above show up directly as a video, instead of a link. If anyone knows how, feel free

That picture is not real, can't see them offering that as a TLX.

Funny how people get so wrapped around the axle over some guy's Photoshopped idea of a car he's never seen.
On the other hand, the engine sound in that video is promising... if it actually came from a TLX. Even if that was some aftermarket exhaust, it sounds promising.
The car under the sheet looks like it either has LED fogs or LED running lights in the lower grill. Looks promising.

the rlx and mdx MID displays the next turn "left or right" the name of the street you will be turning onto and the counts down the distance. much cleaner simpler solution.

I was going to point that out. The engine sound in the teaser video doesn't really sound like a v6. What are the odds that the two engine choices is a turbo 4 with no less than 285hp, and a v6 with ~ 330-345hp.
I really hope they don't mess up this design. Im so concerned with the body and exterior, i know they won't mess up the interior. Heres hoping they paid attention to the lackluster 4g sales. *Sigh*

Giveaways:
(1) Ms Priddy's shots are from July 2012. To early for that kind of geometric camo rolling example of a TLX.
(2) Double wishbone rebound bulges on the wings. :-) I hope we need those on the TLX, but everybody says it's based on the USDM Accord chassis.

Looking back on the ILX and RLX prototypes, both had LED fog light strips that failed to make it into production. I would expect the same for the TLX. Additionally, what we will see tomorrow will likely be about 90% production ready as far as body panels with only adjustments to the plastic bumpers left to be made before production.

By making the beak color the same as the vehicle color it isn't quite as unpleasant - just getting rid of it is better than trying to hide it not sure why they couldn't just do that.

Don't mess up the TLX Acura! I'm likely in the market for a new car within a few years and the TLX will be in my time frame. If most of those wishlist items (which I deem very reasonable economically and tech wise) are not met, I'm going to be very disappointed and will likely move on to Porsche or Audi.

If they make the car smaller overall than the current TL, then I'd expect only 4 cyl. powerplants. Probably some iteration of the 2.4 n/a engine in the base car and the 2.0 turbo as the option. They might even use the 1.5 turbo as the base engine. Having turbos across the board may give some economies of scale for shared components/software development.
That should allow better interior packaging than would be available with the v6. For us the current TL is about as small as we were willing to go interior wise.

Most of the angles under the cover looks pretty decent, but its the one side profile that doesn't do it for me. Looks like the 4G shape which im not very fond of.
Im surprised at how many people here want a 4 banger in the TLX. The last thing I would want is to be driving a car with a 4 banger in it.
Hopefully the car is amazing, but I think the 2015 Z06 that debuted today set the bar pretty high ;-)

I've said it before that I wonder if we're assuming too much that we're going to be able to fit all that stuff on the Accord chassis.

I know it's unlikely for me to be right about that, but I'm sure hoping!

What's wrong with a 4 cylinder in there if it performs well? And is modifiable? Lol

Well get used to the trend because that's going to start happening all over the place.

I think a lot of people prefer the feel and sound of a smooth Honda V6. And they probably are looking at the RDX's miserable tuning as the boost example to compare a J to.
I'm going to assume they have learned since then.

Why the hell not? because I cant stand the sound and feel of 4cyl engines. Every 4cyl I have driven just sounds so weak and miserable. Yes I know the engines are better these days, but for me personally, I would rather take the smoother running and sounding V6 or V8 over the 4 banger. I like torque as well. Even my wife who could care less about cars specifically purchased her V6 accord because she said the 4cyl felt and sounded like junk....and she is right. I would take the slight hit in MPG for more pistons. If I wanted a 4cyl equipped car I would go buy a Civic or Nissan Sentra or something, not a fancy Acura.
