wife clipped the driver side mirror backing out of garage. The mirror is shattered and the housing is cracked. I ordered the entire mirror assembly from Acura parts warehouse. I am not an auto mechanic but I am just "sorda handy". So I'm going to attempt replacing the assembly myself.
looks like I have to remove the door panel.... are there any instructions or diagrams or videos that any of you can point me to? I never took off a door panel before so I'm just a bit in-easy.

Sorry I don't have any direct advice. I was going to mention the door though. My the dealer damaged my side mirror on my 2018 at delivery and had to replace the mirror (which required taking part of the door off. You should be able to track down the instructions. The dealer showed my some schematics when they told me the door would have to come off. It took them about 1.5 hours to do.
