2015 TLX 4cyl Tech How do I fold my side mirrors?

There's no switch or button to fold them. Can I just push them inwards manually?

Are you guys sure there isnt a button? i have a 2015 tlx tech as well, when i push the tab or button that allows me to adjust either the left or right mirror, they go in, and pushing it again allows them to unfold to the normal position.

Power folding mirrors is one of the features available on some Canadian TLX trims only.

Why would they do that, don't people in the US want to foldin their mirrors as well. Little things like this make me wonder what car manufactures are thinking.

The Canadian TLX TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE has power folding side mirrors. It's a bummer that even the top-of-the line TLX in the US doesn't get that. Any idea if that can be an add-on or mod?

Couldn't care less about the heated items since mine are heated everyday by the sun in South Florida.

I would have liked to get the ventilated seats though.

I don't get it either. I'd though it would be cheaper to standardize on everything and increase economies of scale but it happens throughout the entire Acura lineup where the Canadian models are better equipped.

I remember reading through a MDX thread discussing this; it ended up costing more than $1000 (the mirrors were C$463 each) and required an extreme amount of effort.

Hello @CPR.

So far the AC works good in South Florida. I believe the window tint helps a lot. Usually set the temp to 73F and forget about it.

Great. Are you driving down or flying down?

My parents have a place just north of Orlando. I plan to drive there in a week or two. Driving to see them is my annual/semi-annual long trip. It's nice to get out of town and drive in the country. It breaks up the monotony of driving 68 miles to work, Monday through Friday. Although with a TLX it's a nice drive either way.

I found a thread in an MDX forum discussing that also:
Quest for Power Folding Mirrors - Acura MDX Forum : Acura MDX SUV Forums. Oh boy! They're expensive!

I had an RLX with power folding mirrors for a week. While it was a novelty and not a necessity for me, 'twas a little loud! If they could make the motor a little quieter, I'd like it more.

The motors on the TLX are quiet, and it is a nice to have rather than a must have feature.
