I am loving the orange/red color in the animations on the technical overview. Too bad it is not offered on the production model!!

It's an old obsolete browser. I think AOL invented it or something.

I know some people expected more (from what I read) from a performance standpoint but after reviewing the link and looking at power delivery for the 3.5 V6 I thought the torque in particular appears to be delivered from a relatively low RPM compared to most N/A engines. I don't have the ability to post a picture of the power delivery page otherwise I would but it looks like 250 lb-ft of torque around 2000 rpm. If I'm wrong and this is expected please let me know.

It's not unusual for larger displacement engines to produce good amounts of low end torque. Nissan/Infiniti's 3.7L V6 produces about the same at 2000rpm (it doesn't have direct injection - DI affects port design [for emissions], which benefits low end torque).

What I learned from this: The 8DCT uses wet clutches. I thought with a torque converter, they would try to use a dry clutch system. I guess their hybrid follies in Japan convinced them otherwise :p.
