So my 21 Advance experienced a total shutdown of the Infotainment system. This was preceded by the typical cracking sound coming thru the speakers. This was the 2nd time this has occurred so off to the dealership I went. They had my car for 3 days (did get a loaner) and the Service Advisor stated they completed a stage 2 replacement of all the FAKRA cables. Not sure what stage 2 is so I am reaching out to anyone who has experienced a repeat performance of the FAKRA cable failure. Some of the obvious questiions:

What is "stage 2 FAKRA cable replacement?
Did it address the issue?
Did you have to come back for another repair/replacement of the FAKRA?
How long is this updated cable lasting if you had to come back?

I only drive 2022 Acura MDX Platinum Elite once or twice a month. As such, my battery is often dead or very slow cranking. I went to the dealer to have them throw in a new battery. The dealer load tested my battery and dsaid it is in good shape, just discharged.

They ended up swelling me an AGM smart charger. My battery needs to be on the charger 60 to 70 hours a week.

I assume the parastic drain is due to the cellular connection broadcasting GPS and vehicle statistics and status to the Acura mothership. I wish I could turn this off.

What is your experience?
