I was going to to ring to my mechanic and ask him to polish and clear coat the lenses before replacing bulbs. The are original OEM. After reading the treads I see that the inside reflectors could also be delaminating. What do I ask him to check before the polishing and bulbs? I would hate to do all that and find out I need new assemblies.

I have read all the threads on the bulbs. I like the vehicle and it only has 60k and just had full timing belt services done. What is the best we to proceed. Any and all thoughts welcome.
