Hi all,

I’m finalizing a deal on a 2025 Integra Type S and need a quick market sanity check on my 2012 Base ZDX** before trading it in.

* **Specs:** 2012 Base Model (3.7L V6 / SH-AWD)

* **Color:** Grigio Metallic (Dark Gray)

* **Mileage:** 70,000 original miles

* **History:** SoCal car, clean title, zero accidents, mechanically flawless.

* **Condition:** Excellent, except the clear coat on the hood has oxidized from the sun. It's a very minor and inexpensive respray, but I'd rather just let the next owner handle it.

Given how rare sub-100k mile ZDXs are, what do you think is a fair private-party price in its current condition?

Appreciate the insight!

I got this message on the Acura EV app "2024 ZDX Meter/Center Display SW Update Recall". It actually happened to my wife yesterday, i.e. the display did go blank. We are bringing in the car next week for this recall. Is there anything I can do to also get the upgrade to get TSB-25-34 (K73 Telematics Control Module Software Updates #1) and TSB-033 (A11 Radio Control Module Software Updates #1)? I think we already have TSB 25-044 (2024 ZDX Vehicle-Wide Programming #1). Our appointment is with Acura Stevens Creek, Santa Clara but they are not very helpful so I would consider another shop.

Built-in Google Maps puzzling

Sometimes I like to try out road trip planning using the built-in Google Maps. And sometimes what it does is puzzling. For example, on a hypothetical 642 mile trip, one stop at a 350 kWh Electrify America station said I would go from 23% to 58% in 45 minutes. Another stop at an MB 400 kWh unit, 13% to 77% in 1h 23m. Both of these estimates are absurdly long and just wrong. This car can go from 20-80% in 40 minutes, less in ideal situations. I can't figure out what is going wrong.

I used ABRP for the same destination, and used the one that I installed on the car itself (not on my iPhone, in other words), and its route seemed much more reasonable, with total charging time much lower. The problem with ABRP built into the car is I can see the route, I can see roughly where the stops are, but it will not tell you arrival/departure state of charge, etc. You can only do that from the phone.

I've never understood why this software is so hard to seemingly get right by the vendors.

Just got an email from Acura. They are dropping the EV App and replacing it with the existing AcuraLink app, starting early next month:

We’re writing to share an update about the mobile app experience for your Acura ZDX.

Starting June 3, 2026, you can use the AcuraLink® app with your ZDX. To avoid any interruption, please switch to AcuraLink® app by August 3, 2026. After that date, the Acura EV app will no longer be available for ZDX.

The following features will continue to be available in AcuraLink® app:

AcuraLink connected by OnStar services

Charging features and charging stations

EVgo charge credit: your EVgo charging access stays the same, and any credits remain in your EVgo account. You’ll view and access those credits in AcuraLink® app instead of the Acura EV app.

In AcuraLink® app, you’ll also have access to:

Roadside Assistance: request help 24/7 and track your request

Send Destination to Vehicle: search and send a location to your vehicle’s navigation system

Schedule Service: find a nearby Acura dealer and book a service appointment (online scheduling varies by dealer)

Key dates

June 3, 2026: AcuraLink® app becomes available for ZDX

June 3–August 2, 2026: You can use either app

August 3, 2026: The Acura EV app will no longer work with ZDX

Your vehicle’s operation, drivability, and safety systems are not affected

Any active AcuraLink connected by OnStar services continue in AcuraLink® app as originally provided

Next Steps
Download the AcuraLink® app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, then sign in with your existing Acura credentials to keep using your connected features with your vehicle.
