Yeah man, deals4wheels still exists. Belgreen is near the princess auto off stevenage in the east end. I believe there is another location in nepean off merivale and roydon.

 

I wonder if the merivale location is still there?

I need some wheels for my 3G

 

Pretty sure it still is. I was at the kelseys a month back and it was still there.

I'm in Ottawa, I should be able to make a meet, if I pay attention to the thread, hah.

Unfortunately, due to issues, I don't know what car will be there with me. It'll either be the 2002 TL or the 2004 EL. That's all I can say, and even then I may not show up in either.

like I said dude, im down, so let's get some more ppl in here. We can also meet up friday's and saturday's at the timmies on merivale, and tuesday's at the hazeldean mall show's. We gotta rep import's and acura's hard, cuz this city is lacking!

 

Merivale is too far for me. I would consider working to get together with a couple people just to meet up and put faces to names, maybe plan this further than through a forum.

Im usually there every tuesday cause my dad shows his car there and I was planning on bringing my 80 indy pace car there this year but Im not sure it going to be ready

Sandy Hill is right downtown, near the market and Ottawa U. I moved from there and now live in Wellington Village. I'm also in Kanata all the time cuz I play hockey at the Sensplex. This city is so small, we could meet anywhere. I think Mooney's Bay was a good suggestion cuz it's central and isolated. Also, I want to stay away from other meets like old domestic stuff going on around Hazledean. We do that when we get a bigger following.

When do you guys switch from winters and throw your summers back on? I typically wait until 2 rainfalls after the last salting but don't know if we are gonna get another snow dumping or not.

 

I wait as long as I can to put my wheel's on. I want to make sure the stupid city of ottawa fixes all the pot hole's 1st. Yes we do need a better following, and I dont know how to find the other ottawa memebers, but it needs to be done!

 

I can check my records from last year to let you know about my summers. Usually the rule of thumb is an average of 10degC. If it wasnt still march I would probably switch over. I feel my winters are melting like butter in these warm conditions. Like Dave said, wait until a couple hard rains and street sweepers to hit the streets. I usually drive like a drunk person because I am swerving to avoid all the pots holes...not fun.

As per meet dates, how about tentatively the first weekend of May, so May 1-2 @ Mooneys? I think that is pretty fair. Do we want to pick an evening and do a Timmy's thing in the next couple weeks? What is a good central location with enough parking?

Mr. Fluffy, you can start that new thread with that location and date and see what kind of following that leads to.

Ricers and "muscle car ricers" I coined that phrase,LOL actually some of the cars are ok,But im kinda a ricer guy because lets face it our cars are a little ricey so if the shoe fits, but I also have 1980 trans am, 2005 Magnum RT and 1988 300zx

Some times its a bad scene they all go out and street race, some cars that go there are 10sec cars but I heard this summer theres going to be alot of cops there FYI

 

I see. I'd rather have a freandly meet and not get a $1000+ fine or get my pinks taken away so I'll pass on that. I already had that happened to me when I was 18 and my insurance is still pretty high.

Resurrected for sure! I traded my CL for an Impala LTZ back in October. Unless there is a good turn out of the original guys that made it out, I doubt I would make it out.
