Replace Side View Mirror
So I bought a new RDX on Saturday. My wife drove it to work on Tue while I took her TL in to fix a paint chip. Coming out her parking garage, she hit some type of metal box which gouged several 3"-4" grooves out of the driver's side view mirror casing.
She called the dealer today and the service department told her that a replacement mirror would cost $310 and that she could just snap the old one off and snap the new one on. I can't find any installation manuals for the mirror but I can't believe that it would be that simple.
Has anyone done this replacement yet or know where I can find the installation instructions?
Thanks!

Mirror replacement
I'd like to know too. I shattered my side mirror turn signal cover on a construction pylon (7 of them actually) when someone swerved me off the road. I ordered just the LED unit and the plastic cover from Acura of Peoria. But I cant figure out how to get into the unit. My local dealer quoted me $475 to replace the entire mirror unit. For a broken plastic light cover!!!!

Ironic I looked inside this thread? Yes...
Someone at a parking lot smacked my side mirror, enough to crack several tiny chunks off. Honestly without ordering my service manual it looks like a door disassembly job to me (probably 30~40min involved)...

Here's some general instructions. Use at your own risk.
Pull the door inner panel and plastic water seal, then disconnect the mirror electric harness and 3 nuts that secure it to the door. From inside the door there is a single three prong clip that holds the mirror assembly on. I'm not sure how you undo it -- it must be apparent when you actually see it. Hold the mirror when releasing it or it may fall.
When re-assembling, be sure to seal the perimeter of the plastic water seal again.
