In defense of karma, not that I entirely believe it, the fact that your SO slept with someone else may not have been an undeserving helping of karma, but rather a consequence of something you may have done earlier.

I don't think that this is an issue of karma, the reason I started the thread was that I did, and I couldn't help feeling bad about it, for almost no apparent reason. I'm over it now, and I don't think that the few days I spent moping is enough to deter me from doing it again.
