Me and my friends play the "what if" game when we are just out having a few brews. We come up with all kinds of scenarios that would probably never happen but we quiz each other on what we think our reactions would be. One that we came up with a couple months ago was:

"What if you met the woman of your dreams, in every way, physically, mentally, emotionally, but right when you are ready to propose you find out she did porn before you knew her. She wasn't a porn star she didn't get gangbanged and do 500 movies, but she did one of those internet sites and got fucked by one dude and that was the only porn she ever did. Would you still marry her"

I was the only one that said yes I would still marry her.

The other guys where like no way, she's a whore, how would you feel knowing that everybody you know could just go watch your wife getting railed by some other dude.

My rationale was that if she only did one movie then I could still marry her, we all make mistakes and any sane dude is gonna know that his girlfriend has fucked other guys, it just so happened that one of the guys she fucked was on video for money. It would fuck with my head and I would have to really do some soul searching, but it probably wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.

I could still go through with it if they were clean, had stopped doing it, and would never do it again. I agree that everyone makes a mistake or has used some bad judgment in the past. As long as it stays in the past I can't see it being too much of a problem, especially if the person wasn't really famous.

But girls that do porn aren't the marrying type - I guess it comes down to what you would consider the marrying type though. Me, I want a girl that will be committed to me and we'll stay together. A porn star wants to be the center of attention and that'll get any marriage in trouble. But if I found out my girl was a porn star I'd want her to bring another girl into the bedroom with us - but I wouldn't marry her.

I'd have to say no because you just can't trust the nature of the beast. Your girl admits to doing internet porn, but how do you know she didn't do more? How do you know if times get bad between you 2(financial, emotional), she won't go back to porn? I believe people deserve a 2nd chance, but I just can't do it when it comes to something as serious as marriage.

i think that after the initial shock, if she was really the ONE, it would not be a deal breaker. of course, it also does depend on the circumstance moreso than the actual action itself. the circumstance would shed much light on her actual person.

I have to agree with Dean too. My first reaction is no, but then again couldn't be sure unless I was presented with the situation. If this really is the person of my dreams, I would guess that i would be able to let SOME things in the past go. All depends on the whole story

1. You are about to marry the woman of your dreams in every way, except just before you propose you find out the one flaw/mistake she has. didn't read all the responses but I would say that if the girl was upfront about it in the beginning and I knew from Jump then I would still marry her. What most people don't realize here is that we don't get married after a week. you build trust and a relationship over time.
