You probably know this, but there is no such thing as pure white gold. Gold is gold.

Not all white gold is just yellow gold coated in something else. While this is sometimes true, there are plenty of things made out of white gold (which is an alloy of gold and at least one other metal to make it whiter). However, unless the gold content is fairly low (12k or less) it's still going to be fairly yellowish, so they do coat it in rhodium. This layer can wear off and show the yellowish color. There really is no way around this.

Dizzam I do monopolar electrosurgery quite frequently and don't always use gloves (although I should). Usually I will hold the hyfrecator with the right hand and stabilize the skin with my left hand. I might be better off wearing the ring on a necklace when I'm at work.
