I realize I'm butting in with an unsolicited opinion but AOMech would have us all believe women are an enemy until we find one that isn't. But in his world that doesn't exist.

I would re-categorize what he calls "bullshit or women not worthy of our time" as a characteristic much more easily identifiable - selfishness. Selfishness is cancer to a relationship. If I were suddenly single tomorrow I would look for a woman who was unselfish - someone who had the capacity to place someone else's interests above her own. Of course, that has to be the same for the guy too because that has to go both ways for it to work. And for a guy, it's about finding a woman that you actually want to be unselfish towards. I think if you find two people looking out for each other in balance, you'll find a happy and healthy relationship that does not have any "bullshit" coming from either side. You would certainly avoid the type of woman AOMech thinks are out there that want to just use a guy for rent and health insurance.

the only problem I see with AOM's position is that it forces him to be dishonest with women. If he comes on with the same level of candor that he's had here, and is still able to get a date or whatever, then kudos to him.

Most of the folks I know that have recently gotten divorced tend to hate the first couple months just because it's not new to them. After that they tend to be just fine. All I can tell you is to learn from it.

I can call you names and say women are to be used and nothing else but it didn't work out well for the other guy.

I've no issue if that what works for him and the women he's dealing with have full disclosure. To each his own.

To evangelize and carry on the way he did is what I object to. And on principle I dislike the idea of using women as just another appliance in someone's life, and to AOMech women serve no higher purpose than his refrigerator, car and cell phone. Something to use when you need it and ignore the rest of the time. I feel bad for women who may be lured into his presence expecting something more.

well it looked like he was on roid rage as he was posting. I've listened to tom leykis before but this guy took it to a whole 'nother level. it wasn't my cup of tea, it was just radio entertainment. this guy took what Ive heard all those years ago and spit it out word for word on most occasions. sounded like he had a fire down his crotch. must be the herpes.
