Sad to hear but It's good to know that there are still strong parents out there holding it down for their family. The kids came through all right - the oldest is a retail manager, married 10 years and has three kids. The younger one is an executive assistant to a private IT firm and single.
I swore off marriage, met a great guy 5 years ago. We have our own company, designing mobile offices and traveling the country, training the users of our systems.
You know you found the right one when you can travel together 25,000+ miles and not a single argument.

okay, i think i was one of the first people to really put doubt on "rachel's" claims. i also think you are one of the only people to actually claim to have done what she is doing. although from reading your description i see very little of where you actually took care of your baby daughter (it was a baby in your case, right?). no descriptions of how you were able to feed and change her multiple times during the day, and bathe her, rock her to sleep and when she cries, and otherwise watch her. in other words, do most of the caretaking, as Rachel would imply that "Billz" does absolutely nothing (or maybe that's what everyone else is projecting), not unlike your alcoholic ex, i'm guessing. anyway, she is probably away from her baby as much as 14-16 hours a day (as you probably were). someone else has to be taking care of her during that time. maybe it isn't Billz, but i would wager that he spends more time with baby than Rachel as your brother probably did as well. there is nothing in his posts (as moronic as they have been) that would suggest he despises his daughter except that she was probably an "accident".

You want details? I worked 10 PM to 6AM as a dispatcher and was in school from 6PM to 9:30 PM three nights a week, with 8AM to 4PM classes on Saturdays. Because of the hours I worked, my boss was okay with me bringing the baby to work two nights a week. The other nights, she stayed with my brother. Because I was home during the day, I would change her diapers, feed her, and my brother would come by to play with her while I caught a nap. I took a lousy paying "no public contact" job because it allowed me to save money by not having to buy work clothes - I could go from school to the office in jeans and a T-shirt. My kids were bottle fed, so I kept a supply of reconstituted powdered formula bottles in the fridge and used ready to use formula when away from the house (such as my brother's house).
