Men's Wedding Rings What do you guys have

I wanted just a plain white gold 8mm wrap (my fingers alone are 6 inches long). But she like this one that is 2-tone white and yellow gold with 1/2 CT in diamonds in it. WHat do you guys wear, do you wear a ring with stones? I wear a lot of watches so i guess i like the 2 tone but diamonds is that gaudy?

I have a James Avery ring that is a yellow gold band in the middle with thin white gold bands on each side of the yellow gold band. It's the only ring I have ever owned.

I want to get a platinum shackle around my ankle. That would be appropriate.

MY best friend's wedding ring actually has diamonds in it. It's pretty slick. But I am not a bling-bling kind of dude.

Check out this spooky ass wedding band:

Well if some people at least say they like it then i might do it, i don't really care about it that much and she rarely expresses an interest in much so i think that i will do it, she is paying for most of it anyway, the ring is not from zales it's a bit nicer, lists for 1300 but i talked them down a bit

I had a similar style to this one except I had platinum unfinished center with 18k yellow gold on the outsides...but I lost it a couple months ago!

I was originally going to get a ring with diamonds in it.. but didn't like the way it looked.

The style of my ring is similar to what NSXNEXT posted except it's smooth (no ridges) and the gold is on the outside (thin bands) and the middle is platinum.

Challenge? You mean they go after you more when you have a ring on? Kinda like the rule that when you go to a club with a girl the hottest sluttiest girl in the club tries to take you home when she goes to the bathroom?

My wedding ring is a plain comfort fit 5mm gold band.

I didn't want platinum because of the extra weight. I didn't want stones or fancy designs.

I thought it was this mondera ring, though if darksith has long fingers it might be a bt skinny, like everyhting you gotta try it on.

that's almost exactly how mine looks, but it's all platinum...so the gold portion is a polished platinum.

no man i am getting married and the best i have seen is the tiffany's 6mm platinum wedding band. it runs $1000.00 that is what i'm buying because platinum is so much more precious than gold, it lasts forever, and it can be polished to a brilliant shine. there is no such thing as white gold the white gold is colored that way and because of the softness gold will wear out over time whereas the molecular structure of platinum remains intact forever. hope it helps look it up on www.tiffanys.com. congrats on the wedding man!

Thanks for the congrats. But there are some descreptancies in your post. Yes platinum is more precious than gold, the jury is still out on things like durability and ability to keep shine. Normal platinum is not as shiny as white gold until it is rhodiumed, and they do the same process to white gold this is just something that is handled as an every two year type of thing. Also, there is no such thing as yellow gold in jewelry unless you are buying a rare piece, all jewelry gold is an alloy, otherwise it would be far too soft. Any ring can be shined up. Now don't get me wrong, i looked at some 8mm platinum bands but i can't justify spending 1200 dollars on a silly band of metal, if it had some diamonds in it, that would be better. I like platinum for one reason though, it's hypoallergenic, my fiance is allergic to many metals / adhesives and so i got her a platinum ring, we are both very hapy with it. But once you get platinum everything gets more expensive, sizing is 150 instead of 20, wedding bands that would be 400 in gold are now 1000-1200 in platinum.

unless you got money to burn, or want a new hole, i'd suggest crossing tiffanys off the list of places to shop at.

I know someone who taped their wedding ring to a golf ball and hit it off the cliff, said it was the perfect hit as well.

Highly agree - you put that same ring in a red box, for instance, and the price drops a staggering 75%!!
