Men's Wedding Rings What do you guys have
I wanted just a plain white gold 8mm wrap (my fingers alone are 6 inches long). But she like this one that is 2-tone white and yellow gold with 1/2 CT in diamonds in it. WHat do you guys wear, do you wear a ring with stones? I wear a lot of watches so i guess i like the 2 tone but diamonds is that gaudy?

I have a James Avery ring that is a yellow gold band in the middle with thin white gold bands on each side of the yellow gold band. It's the only ring I have ever owned.

Well if some people at least say they like it then i might do it, i don't really care about it that much and she rarely expresses an interest in much so i think that i will do it, she is paying for most of it anyway, the ring is not from zales it's a bit nicer, lists for 1300 but i talked them down a bit

I had a similar style to this one except I had platinum unfinished center with 18k yellow gold on the outsides...but I lost it a couple months ago!

i have yet to see a man that had stones in his wedding band... i see guys that have stones in other rings, like a class ring, but never a wedding band...
(btw, how come men don't get engagement rings??? I wouldn't want an engagement ring persay, but an engagement drill or buffer.... Damn, women get everything these days.... )

no man i am getting married and the best i have seen is the tiffany's 6mm platinum wedding band. it runs $1000.00 that is what i'm buying because platinum is so much more precious than gold, it lasts forever, and it can be polished to a brilliant shine. there is no such thing as white gold the white gold is colored that way and because of the softness gold will wear out over time whereas the molecular structure of platinum remains intact forever. hope it helps look it up on www.tiffanys.com. congrats on the wedding man!

Thanks for the congrats. But there are some descreptancies in your post. Yes platinum is more precious than gold, the jury is still out on things like durability and ability to keep shine. Normal platinum is not as shiny as white gold until it is rhodiumed, and they do the same process to white gold this is just something that is handled as an every two year type of thing. Also, there is no such thing as yellow gold in jewelry unless you are buying a rare piece, all jewelry gold is an alloy, otherwise it would be far too soft. Any ring can be shined up. Now don't get me wrong, i looked at some 8mm platinum bands but i can't justify spending 1200 dollars on a silly band of metal, if it had some diamonds in it, that would be better. I like platinum for one reason though, it's hypoallergenic, my fiance is allergic to many metals / adhesives and so i got her a platinum ring, we are both very hapy with it. But once you get platinum everything gets more expensive, sizing is 150 instead of 20, wedding bands that would be 400 in gold are now 1000-1200 in platinum.
