money's a little tight for me right now...so i'm thinking sending flowers to her office and cooking dinner.

like i said, lame and cliche...but
We usually always go to a good restaurant and he get me flowers, I am satisfied with that. This year nothing is planed yet, he will probably surprise me even though he know I hate surprises. Depending on what he surprise me with that determines what he gets, if you know what I mean.

Meh. The typical.

Dinner at 14k.
He'll probably get me flowers (orchids, lillies, roses).
Exchange gifts. I got him chocolate, cologne, a burberry polo and a few books.
I'm probably going to get the perfume that I asked for and no chocolates (i don't like chocolate).
Then at 9pm.....LOST!
Oh...and of course romping in the sheets! (there's no smiley that applies to a woman in terms of sex......I wouldn't really want to use or )

Maybe next year will be a little more thrilling. All we want to do is watch Lost anyways.

What type of flowers is everyone getting for their valentine? Are you going with the traditional red roses or something more creative? Please share.

i got her roses the first valentines. tulips last year. this year, i'm going with some bouquet that includes her favorite flower: alstroemeria (sp?).

roses are nice and all...but they're kind of cliche, no?

yea i know.

but i was just saying. if you're planning on using it for valentine's day or weekend, i'd call and make sure they'll honor it.

apparently some locations aren't letting you use it this week even though they're one of "participating" locations.

My waife says that Valentines Day is a "Hallmark Holiday"

In other words...it's just a cheap reason to force people to buy shit.

Damn I love her.

Looks like we'll be doing nothing.

I won't see her til Friday. Her bday is on the 17th and we have plans to go to the jersey shore with all her friends Friday night and drink all weekend. I tried to setup something for sunday evening but she's afraid she'll be too hungover to make it worthwhile.

I left it up to her to decide what she wants to do (obviously, and I guess I misjudged her priorities) but i'm still trying to figure out how to celebrate both this weekend
