I Need A Quick Opinion For My Dumb Ass Cuz
MY COUSIN JUST TURNED 18 sorry for the caps, and he met this chick, I gotta admit she's Fine! Until i found out how old she was......
Body is mature, attitude is mature, she looks and acts like a grown ass female, Hell, Im 21 and she acts more mature and looks older than me!
anyway my cousin wants to smash and i keep telling him dont do it dont do it, thats jailbait,
I'm at work right now, but she's skipping school today and my cousin is suppsosed to be at work at 10:30, its now 9:38am Am I taking this too hard. should he not Bang this chick who is 3 years younger than he is? Thats a damn shame too, she is white. but do you really think so? she fucks with older dudes she just got outta 6 month relation ship with a 22 year old. so I dunno. I've met the guy before, but i thought they were friends, until she told me.

Im tryin to be reasonable for this boy, and I keep thinking of things to make it not seem so bad because he is my family.. This is really weird, I have a Brother, and he is 16, He'll be 17 on the 24th of november, His girlfriend is 19 and her b-day is somethime in december but they are doin everything a normal couple would do.
Like I started this post to ask opinions with the assumption in my mind that yeah, thats not so bad, i dont think he should do it, but its not so bad. The more I See responses from you guys, I think Damn What teh Fuck is my cousin doing, but when I think about it again Im like well he can do his thing. I have a friend who was in an eerily similar situation. He was 18 and she was a very “mature” 14. He got a 10 year probated sentence with several stipulations. A few years into the probation, he ended up violating his probation and was sent off to prison. He is STILL behind bars today serving out the remainder of his 10 years in prison.
It is NOT worth it for any reason. I cannot see any tail being worth losing my freedom.

The fact they would give a guy 10 years for that is insane. I say unless she was really raped as in he forced her to do it then he should have only gotten a slap on the wrist.

TWO - Attend weekly Sexual Predator Meetings
This was the stickler. He did not rape this girl in his mind but he was in a class with people who had assaulted children, I mean like under 10 years old. He did not look at his situation as a rape of a child, even though the law does. Like I said, people can argue both ways .....
I do not have children yet. So, it is hard to say how I would react if I found out my 14 year old daughter was getting plowed by an 18 yeard old HS senior or someone older. I know what the law says, but not sure it performs in the modern era of today.

That being said, do I agree that he was punished appropriately, No.
Do I think an 18 year old guy should have sex with a 15 year old girl, No. At that age three years difference is HUGE on many levels, emotionally most of all.

ya, i think i would feel pretty weird going to those meetings, if i were charged with statutory rape at age 18, even though it was all consensual and we were "in love."
but, gotta take care of business. at 18, most will treat you as an adult, and that means for both better or worse...

Louisiana used to have on their books that the age of consent varies upon the conditions; 14 years old if she was in her primary residence, 15 if she was in the boyfriend's primary residence, and 16 if they were out parking in the woods, or in a hotel, etc. Anyone know if that is still the case there?

Right, this is what im saying. I feel this way, however, I know the law. but the law says we have to pay tax and if we dont the IRS is commin for that ass. but some of us do things some dont. Just like my situation, My last girlfriend was four, damn near 5 years older than me and we get it in, we were serious. but there is no problem there, I'm trying to view this from both sides cause I know there is not only 2 sides. there are Psychologically many of them. and I am trying to be as understanding from all sides, however I still have my own opinions. Thats why im asking you guys.
BTW as far as i know he didnt smash yet, but they are still talking.

Your cousin is an idiot and truthfully if he is considering this it's because he can't get a chick his own age. As in your case, you were 20 and she was 25 (something like that don't feel like reading back) I was in the same situation where the girl was 25 and I was 18. I knew girl was a mess and all though we never smashed the fact she was fine hanging out with an 18 yr old meant something was up. There was something up, found out she just got out of a 7 year relationship and was going on a fuckfest and still ended up with some loser...issues mayne.
