How soon is too soon to ask a girl out??
OK so there is this girl named Yvette that I study with for an accounting, and I feel like she flirts back when I flirt with her. The thing is she broke up with her boyfriend a month ago but she says her and him are just really close friends now
I don't know when is the right time to ask her out for a date or whatever....
my friend talked to her about her ex briefly and says I should wait a little while...
any ideas?

Well man, I went through a similar thing with the girl I've been dating (you know who) because when we started talking/hanging out she had just got out of a 2 year relationship, which obviously leaves residuals and for good reason makes someone hesitant to jump into another one. Met her through class too btw. The one thing thats potentialy a downer for you is that they are still "friends." Whatever that means because there are two ways to take that, 1) it is def. over and they just wanna not be hateful about it or 2) its not a forever breakup, they both have feelings still and will return to smashing sometime in the near future. Of course thats why you have your friend who can let you know exactly the nature of the beast. Luckily, I didn't have to deal with the friends business but I DID have to deal with the fact that she kept on finding out more and more shit about what her her ex did while they were together that would make her just generally angry AND more hesitant about wanting anything with anyone else/trust shit. SO... these are sticky situations (sometimes in good ways haha).
BUT that girl is hot man!
I'll be in town tomorrow for Tays birthday, you could always ask her to come by J Wheel's for that.... Hehehe

I would just ask her out... BUT is she leaving for the rest of the summer?? If so make sure to keep in touch with her. Make yourself known. It never hurts to ask...and if she is flirting back she prob likes you. But dont make the date a big deal keep it casual, that why she is more open to the idea of dating again.

I talked to her a few days later and she said she had gotten back with her b/f and he proposed.
I will regret that moment more than anything else as I failed to seal the deal
