So me and girl are basically dating "un-officially" and I need some suggestions on how to bring up make us "official" in a conversation.
What ends up happening is we get to talking ,say after school and on the way to our cars, and I don't get the chance to completely change the subject into talking about making us official before we have to part ways.

I've brought this up with my friends all I got from them was to just whip my dick out and tell her "Bitch, get on your knees where you belong and do your duty to your man." As much as I like this suggestion, I don't think it would go over to well with her. Haha

So what would be a either conversation started or changer so that I could throw in making us official? If that makes sense.

I don't think there is any real trick to this one. First, get her on a date or something where you have some time and her undivided attention. Then just be honest - since I'm assuming you've been been on a date at least a few times, you can just lead in with that, and ask her if she thought what you were doing meant "boyfriend/girlfriend" in her mind or not. Or mention that you'd like to be exclusive like that.

If she can't or won't answer, then you got your answer: unofficial.

Let her decide. Don't dribble in that stuff, just take things as it is and have fun. Doesn't sound like she wants to be too serious and you shouldn't be either. Don't force anything and if the opportunity arises, your welcome to date other people.

I just went through this last month with my new girlfriend, maybe try hanging out with her outside of school, then you'll have more time to bring it up. My conversation was basically "so where are you looking to go with this relationship?" I then told her that I really liked her and would love to call her my gf rather than that girl I'm dating. And we talked about it for a while and we both agreed that it was better to be together than "dating" you just have to bring it up and hope she answers the way you want.

Usually after a few weeks, the girl will say something like..."So I always talking to my girlfriends about my new boyfriend and how everything is going great" or she'll introduce you as "This is my new boyfriend, Ross the Boss." You get my drift.

Of course, with my current GF of 2.5 years, I ended up getting shitfaced at a huge outdoor Halloween costume party after we had been dating for a couple of weeks and started blabbering crap like "You're so beautiful, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want you to be the mother of my children."

Please don't do this. I was fortunate my GF didn't think I was some total freak and not call me anymore.

Thanks for the response. She wants me to come over to her house this weekend to watch a movie with her so I'll probably end up going this route.

I actually might say this to her next time we're at "shindig" and see what she says haha. If it pisses her off, I'll just blame it on the beer.

Unfortunately, that's the way it works at my highschool. If it isn't "Facebook Official", then we're just "talking."

Eh its hard to give advice. No one knows the true nature of their relationship. They're young, obviously still in school. Best bet is to just talk to her about if she wants to be in a serious relationship. Honesty wins girls hearts most times, unless she's not in it and just having fun dating. He's gotta have some clue as to what she wants.

I don't mean to be rude or thoughtless, but why do you need to claim it "official"? I mean, if you care for one another, and are in a committed relationship, what would be the advantage of determining it official? I've never understood that.

Personally, be happy with what you have and move forward. If you need to attach a title to your relationship, then perhaps it's not as strong as you think. You'll know if it's real. And you'll know if it isn't. No need to compartmentalize it.

Anyway, just my opinion and meant with respect.
