when i had my older car i always used to bring her to the streets where alot of cars raced and cruised. she loved the rush, but was also scared at the same time. i think she borrowed the backseat seatbelts too to hold on.

Taking a girl autocrossing is fun. The BMW I race with has a specific day where they encourae the wives/girlfriends to drive. Since they are all driving and are all beginners, they are less hesitant to try it and end up having a lot of fun.....and some become really good.

my G/F and I run her 89 CRX si in SCCA Solo2 autocross Ohio Vally Region STS class. she runs usually even with me. although this last weekend I ran 2-3 seconds faster than her.
Hey don't laugh she's been racing it for like 2-3 years. She's impressive driver. SHE DRIFTED A CRX LAST WEEKEND LIKE NOTHING.
She knows what drifting and all those terms are. JDM,CAI,headers, cat-back exhaust. carbon fiber.

im sorry but for some reason im laughing because youre soooo impressed she knows what JDM, CAI, headers (or on her honda, header), cat-back exhaust and carbon fiber mean. You must have really low standards on what a female should know about cars lol.

i've done it 1 or 2 times with the CRX . it's harder to do with a FWD vs a RWD.
out at our Solo2 events we have guys with Evos,WRX stis, and new VW R32 drifting.

I took a girl for a ride around gingerman last year for some hot laps. She was screaming and had her hands over the visor of the helmet. I thought it was pretty funny, she didnt.

hits brakes..locks them up, back end slings out, and shes lucky that it just only slid her sideways instead of causing her to spin out completely.
Not exactly good for the tiny brakes on a crx.
But if thats your definition of drifting a FWD car, Ive done that in autocrossing, and a few times in traffic (not deliberately)
