Do you listen to music when you...?
Music is a big passion of mine, so it's kind of surprising that I almost never listen to it during the "other kind of passion". On a few occasions in the past, it really helped to heighten the mood during sex. I still remember having Peter Gabriel's Security album on once kind of by accident and it was perfect... lots of primal rhythms and exotic sounds. Anyone who is familliar with that CD, think about the song "Rhythm of the Heat" (especially the end).
I guess part of the problem is that I don't have any kind of stereo on the bedroom. Now that little kids prowl the house, we have to be more private than the old days! Anyone else use music to set the mood? Any favorites?

Who doesn't like a little music somewhere nearby when you're having sex/making/love/messing around? As for Peter Gabriel, I'm not feeling you there.
I had (until someone decided they didn't want to give it back after we broke up) a pretty good mix CD I made that is kind of a make out CD that happens to lead up to more "mood music" about halfway in. It had some assortment of Chris Isaak (Baby did a bad bad thing & wicked game) , DMB, Lifehouse, Pearl Jam (Yellow Ledbetter), Marvin Gaye (let's get it on), Matchbox 20 (you won't be mine), etc.

The GF likes to put on smooth jazz on occasion...
Personally, I think we should slap on Beethoven's "Emperor" Piano Concerto...

Hypothetically:
1. Maroon 5(hell, the first CD is all about sex), specifically "secret"
2. Any slow Beatles stuff...
For those of you who are into rock and have Mr. and Ms. Smith violent shooting hallway explosion sex:
Disturbed-"Violence fetish" and "Mistress" are good ones
And just rock... Stereophonics-"Devil"

At the risk of sounding "out of the loop":
A. What the heck is SPAZ?
B. Where've you been? I've got a whole thread goin' right now about a Milwaukee meet...

b. I've been in Ramblings a lot more than anywhere else. I haven't been in the TSX section much at all. Seeing as I bought another one, I should get more active in the TSX section again. Mod me, anyone?

I remember me and my ex would turn up the tv and it was usually on MTV2 and for some reason everytime we would start the "Shake it like a salt shaker" song would come on. That was our song , well too me it was....she doesn't find it funny.

I don't go out of my way to get music on. If it's on already, fine.
Slow songs can certainly add to the making out. Faster ones tend to get me a little more worked up. I'm also fine with no music at all which is the usual case. Sometimes the TV is on in the background or something.
