I went the super hot route for a while - all the "super hot" sauces. They were good but I got tired of all the heat and not much flavor. The stuff where a drop or two in a pot of chili will clear the room.

That's why I still think Blair's Original death sauce is simply untouchable - decent heat for a habanero sauce but tons of flavor. Its tough to "over heat" with it. Let's keep this thread going, I want to hear back from folks who have tried it. You'll thank me.

Raw they are nice and sweet. And then about 20 seconds later you're begging for it to stop

Tabasco is nasty! I don’t know how you guys eat that. Every time I've tried it I've only tasted vinegar. I prefer the hot sauce my Grandma makes. Its old school Mexican hot sauce, hand made from fresh ingredients! Can't beat that. Tapatio is also good. I'm surprised that didn't make the list.




Oh and for the guys that like tapatio, have you ever tried it on popcorn? That shit is delicious.

I just bought abottle of their chili garlic sauce, shit's tasty, has a great kick to it :)

and FYI, Garlic Tabasco > any other tabasco, shit's just hard to find and they only sell it in small bottles :(
