My current favorite is the super burrito at La Pinata (www.lapinata.com). That thing is huge, I can never finish it in one sitting.

Freebirds ownz all! Chipotle just wants to be the bird.

I resent whoever said Texas doesn't have good Mexican food.

We do have tex-mex spots, but in San Antonio we have some damn good authentic ish!

And the Freebirds in FW doesn't have drag-rats working there yet, but give it time...

This thread still around?

It's sucking for me at the moment because dinner will be ready in a moment and this thread seriously made me want a Chipotle Burrito.

Guess it'll have to wait til tomorrow.

If they did commercials I'd be fat.

i used to really like chipotle. there vegetarian fajita burritos are pretty good and they pack a ton of shit in there for about 5 bucks. got free sodas at the one by uc davis showing your id card to it was a filling, inexpensive lunch. their ingredients got a little old after a while though so i cut down my trips there

they just opened a chipotle next to my apartment today, First time i've tried it, and i wasn't that impressed. But they did give you a lot of food. ugh....

i'll have to try it again, cause i got the fajita burrito with that weird beef that i didn't like too much, but the steak looked pretty good. what do you guys recommend if i decide to try it again?

I think they workers there today were really s too, since it just opened. The burrito would barely stay together, and you either got a bite of all rice, or all meat, since it was separated all sideways like.

wtf are you guys talking about. Chipotles so overrated. Maybe it's because i live in los angeles where there are tons of REAL mexican joints where the burritos are so much better, and a lot cheaper too.

5.95 for a burrito that's mostly rice? no thx.

you chipotle fans must be white! (kidding... sort of)

Oh btw, Baja Fresh > Chipotle x 2

Someone who finally knows what i've been talking about

I too prefer Baja to Chipotle, but will stick to my guns and say both of their meats absolutely suck

I haven't had chipotle in like a year. they don't have one where I live now.

I'm heading to Portland tomorrow and I think a chipotle run is in order.

I'm jumping off the Chipotle bandwagon. I still eat there every once in a while, because the beef flavor is good and their chips and guacamole are tastey. However, as CLPower mentioned a while back, their cuts of beef are pretty bad. I know they aren't "authentic" mexican food and I don't care. If they up their beef quality, they would be my favorite.

Also, now that Baja Fresh has "Classic Soft Tacos" (with cheese and lettuce), I end up eating lunch their about 2 times a week.
