Finished resistance last month. currently playing motorstorm, fun but gets tiring after an hour, especially with all the metal music blaring in 5.1. nirvana's "breed" still is the schizzo though. for the next game considering fear or def jam icon. any suggestions?

If you spend the time with the game and build up your bike and gain achievement credits, it's a blast. Not to mention the online racing is incredible.

What turned me off is that the only bikes available were a Ducati monster (not a fan of naked bikes) and I think a Honda RC51 IIRC. Needless to say I didn't know crap about bikes back then and I couldn't handle the high CC bikes. As you said, it was a steep learning curve I guess.
So in MotoGP06 you can build up your bike with modifications kind of like Forza/GT? All you can do in TT is add a slip-on exhaust and tune the settings, which I can do in GT and Forza, but I'm lost with these bike settings. I'm not too into all-out racing bikes... I'm the guy who likes to play Forza and plop a K20 in a Civic.

Picked up Dirt 3 yesterday. The graphics are some of the best I've seen on an "arcade" style racer. Sound is amazing too. The game is a lot of fun but I found it pretty difficult to get used to the steering dynamics after playing Forza 3 for the past couple of years. I got the hang of it after about 30 minutes but the game remains challenging in a good way.
Been playing stuff related to PS Plus and the "free" games Sony gave out. Played Streets of Rage 2 for a few days since it was a free PS Plus download. It's amazing what we used to think were good graphics. Been playing Dead Nation for the last week or so. I've played Wipeout HD a few times...it's better than I initially thought, but still a racing game, so it doesn't have long-term appeal for me. In fact, I think I'm already over it. I went ahead and deleted inFamous and LBP. I realized I have so little interest in these games that I don't even care about trophy whoring them. I also (finally) started wrapping up my platinum trophy for Wheelman yesterday; should have it today (only needed three trophies, and got two yesterday).
Bayonetta was a lot of fun. Awesome graphics and random button mashing FTW.
I finished LA Noire which was a very intriguing and involving story. I liked it better than Heavy Rain. Sometimes it's nice to play something besides a driving game or FPS. I'm on my last level of FEAR 3. SOS hiding behind counters, hitting the slo motion button, going for head shots. I got to drive a Mech in a couple different levels but the fricking thing is so bulky and hard to coordinate. There's so much shaking in the game I get a headache.

I only rank that as one of my favorite fighting games...of all time!

Great game. I remember scoring it for next to nothing when the Dreamcast was being sold for peanuts.
current games PS3: Mortal kombat, need for speed (hot pursuit) COD (Black ops, moderm warfare 2)
Xbox all I play (basically all I have) is black ops.....Only bought Xbox when PS network went down

If I pulled off any of the hair tricks (kick/boot, punch, etc.), it was by accident. I pretty much just used a handful of regular combos that I found to be particularly effective, maybe five or six out of the entire move list. I loved the finishing moves, and did those every chance I got; the one where she stuffed them into an iron maiden was great.
I finished NFS Hot Pursuit, to be honest I think I had more fun with that then the 2 months of my life I squandered on GT5. SpecB race?! Suite! I'm going to go watch some moss grow in my backyard or trim my pubes

Hey man how's Mortal Kombat? Got sick reviews but will it be fun if I don't game online?

I feel you on GT5...I gave up myself. I also finished nfs but after I bought the lambo/porshe packs I play online.
