Tactical White Board
I bought us an account over the weekend... were all set.
We need to design plans for all the maps as both Seal/Terr. First i'd like to concentrate on is Frostfire, our weakest map. Only I can draw on the maps. Everyone else can view them. Go to www.seasnipers.net > Briefings > S2 Maps to get the maps used by the TWB for points of interest and shit. here is an example of another clans strategy for Frostfire: http://www.tacticalwhiteboard.com/tw...65703361861515 |
okay

I haven't looked yet, but can we see other team's strategies? If so it would be neat to check out all different types of strats and pick one we think we'd like and modify it or whatnot.
|
Yes.
Clans post the map strats theyve created in this forum: http://tacticalwhiteboard.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=5 |
this is the coolest shit i've seen in sometime.....

Lets start discussing seal strategies for Blood Lake.
|
They spawn 4 on the left and 3 on the right..
okay I usually get alot of kills if I take the position between "the LAKE" & "Center Tower".. I usually sit tight and throw alot of grenades around the "terror Swamp" and to the right of it. |

Alright heres a QUICK strat i made up.
It goes on our default premise of 4 teams of two. Ive color coded the teams. http://www.tacticalwhiteboard.com/tw...78043124861255 Basic idea is. Red/Blue team consist of who spawns left. Green/Gold are right. As game begins... Player 1 of Red advances to the ridge over looking the dog leg on the left. Player 2 of Red Guards ramp below... this is a good spot for avoiding grenades... they are usually thrown beyond this point. Simultaneously Blue Team secures the ground just past Red.2 -- and the water just on the right of Red.2 Both of these spots have plenty of foliage offering sufficient stealth. Blue should be able to notify red of any advancing terrorists on the left. If unable to intercept red should be able to surprise passing terrorists and prevent them from advancing to Red.1's point on the ridge. While this is going on the left... Green will camp in the shallows just before the tower. The bush's here also provide great coverage... Usually when I camp here terrorists run right by me. This will allow Green 1 on the left to cover the middle while Green 2 on the right watches over the water on the right of the tower. Gold 1 advances to Seal Rock... and watches the right as Gold 2 advances to Seal Ridge. Gold 2 should be able to snipe anyone on the right ground/turret while Gold 1 secures anyone attempting to pass. Green 2 will have Gold 1's back. During this time I expect plenty of firefighting. Green1 and 2 and Gold 1/2 will be throwing grenades towards the upper middle while blue/red secure left. After Red 1 calls clear on the left Red 2 should advance into the dog leg and wait for Red 1. Blue 2 will advance into the forward shrubbery... Green advances behind rocks in the middle. Gold advances to the tower as Gold 1 grenades forward Tents. As Blue/Red secure left, Green will secure mountain. Gold will secure tent area and snipe right side of hostage house. Green will hold high ground on mountain keeping a wide eye... Blue proceeds forward of mountain to the hostage house... Red proceeds aft of mountain and secures hostages from window. ( Be weary of mines) As hostages are secured Gold advances through middle towards lower extraction ramp. Gold can secure ramp and snipe anyone hanging on the extract ridges as they proceed up. Blue will advance along waters edge to upper extract ramp. Red follows. Green 1 will cover reds rear as green 2 will cover their right side through the forest and past the sun tower. Blue will hold position on ramp... letting red/green past. |
damn I hope I am green or Yellow...

Exactly the thing with strats... depends largely on where you spawn.
On Blood Lake... Left and Right are a good 5 seconds running distance apart. Especially if you have to tread water... Everyone needs to learn to be adaptable. Playing in our private practice rooms you should really try your luck with your weakest weapons... snipers/pistols etc. Thats the only way having strategies will work... if everyone can play their role. |

u make that jones?

ok just watched it..
you gotta explain the premise or something... put text notes / icons in.. for one... it splits our teams of 2 rule. and then the two golds are all alone... |
jonesi suxors! j/k haven't had a chance to look at it yet.
|
shoudn't these stragtegies be in response to standard and non-standard seal tactics? That is if the seal s do this then we do this etc.,??
|
well these strategies are outlined as us BEING seals.
im trying to come up with general strats... the main focus being team building. everyone needs to learn the spawn position and who they should partner with. |
We should also discuss what happens when half the team is smoke!

But yea I grouped in 3's basically as a team that rolls and covers each other as they push ahead.. Once the two teams push up far enough the gold would eventually regroup with them.. Of course if one side is weaker then the other maybe both would go to one side.. |
