The hackers should be dealt with severely for their actions, as should Sony for leaving the front door wide open.
If the bank leaves the vault wide open with no security guards, and the bank gets robbed, the bank is at fault too for not securing the customers assets.

I ended up DLing dead nation
Already bought little big planet. Not sure if I want that wipeout game or the other arcade one.
I guess that leaves me with infamous.
Also this weekend has free rentals of ghostbusters, Final fantasy spirits within and bad boys. (you get all of them)

...and by the way the vault contains safety deposit boxes...I'd bet the customers would be pissed if their valuables were stolen....that would have a HUGE adverse effect on the customer.

Between Netflix, DirecTV on demand, movie premium channels, Redbox, regular premium channels, NBA Finals, video games, guitar playing, and a life, of all the things I was going to watch it would be those movies in a weekend? Sony are you retard?

Well, I think Sony being hacked is just the start...Nintendo was hacked the other day...Lots of organizations are getting targeted.

Sony did not want to spend any coin on the films....so they went bottom of the barrel.

...and once again....this time source code get taken
You may recall that last week, a group of hackers identifying itself as LulzSec were able to break into Sony's entertainment website, SonyPictures.com, and claimed to make off with passwords and other private information belonging to over a million users.
Looks like LulzSec is at it again, and this time the group's target is… Sony. Again. Reuters reports the following:
"The group, which has claimed credit for a prior attack on Sony's systems, posted what appeared to be Sony BMG network maps from a New York city office and what they said was 54 megabytes of Sony developer source code."
That may not sound like much at first glance, but as Epoch Times reports:
"The developer network source code leaked by the group on June 6 is principally the design recipe for the resource network where developers embed their programming, like PlayStation games. With it, hackers would be able to make changes to it, reverse-engineering the network and creating duplicates or different versions.
They would also be able use the source code to find holes in the system and exploit them, wreaking further havoc on Sony's already battered network security team."
A master key of sorts, if you will. Sony representative Jim Kennedy said of the most recent reports, "We are looking into these claims."
The FBI has been eying LulzSec intently, too, as the group claimed to have compromised one of the bureau's partners over the weekend. Epoch Times writes that one of LulzSec's members, Robert Cavanaugh, "was apprehended and taken into custody," by the FBI recently.

I don't think you can get them online, only from your PS. I got my first two with no problem, but they weren't that big. My last two are downloading now. They're HUGE and will probably take the rest of the night, but no problems so far.

Hmmm 69.99 PS branded active shitter 3D glasses.
Guess I should get a pair since I got a 3D TV and a PS3.
<~~~ reading the E3 keynote right now.
Also pretty sweet with that split screen action they got. Where 2 players can both have full screen gaming and not see the other persons stuff.
Really cool IMO.

Thanks Kobe for making our game look crappier than ever.
I think that Move game where you're the kid knight and have a sword, arrows, chinese stars looked promising.
Nice move releasing the Ico and Shadow of Colossus games to PS3. I knew they'd profit off killing backwards compatibility with all these re-releases. I'll probably get the MGS ones when they get cheaper.
What did you guys think about the Vita? Needs Android OS to replace my iPhone. I don't want to carry two handheld gaming devices. Touchscreen both sides is pretty

so do they know who is responsible for all of this (forgot) - if so, what is going to be done? this is still a 'new' frontier in terms of history, and there's not much precedent. these people need to be penalized harshly for these acts. I don't know how or by whom, but something needs to be done.

Cops Arrest Three Anonymous Members Allegedly Involved in Sony Hack
Spanish authorities announced Friday they have arrested three members of the hacking group Anonymous in connection to attacks against Sony’s online Playstation network and other sites.
The police said the three, whose identities were not disclosed, carried out the attacks from a server based in one of the suspect’s houses in northern Spain, Reuters said.
Anonymous, a loose-knit collective of online griefers, has denied that it participated in the Sony hack, but has publicly taken credit for attacks against PayPal, Visa and others because those institutions declined to transmit donations to the whistleblower site, WikiLeaks.
The hack against Sony’s Playstation site forced the company to shutter its online gaming service for more than a month. Sony Chairman Howard Stringer said Anonymous had attacked the websites of several Sony divisions.
Anonymous recently declared Sony a target to protest the company’s lawsuit against PlayStation 3 tinkerer George Hotz. Sony claimed an Anonymous calling card was found on one of the compromised servers.
But Anonymous said last month that “online thieves” have framed the group insofar as the attacks on Sony were concerned.
The Spanish police said that Anonymous was responsible for hacks of government sites in Algeria, Iran, Egypt and Libya, in addition to two Spanish banks and an Italian energy concern.
Authorities in the United States are also probing the group.

I'm still contemplating whether or not I should go online for any reason. I don't have internet (I'm someone else's computer now) so I'll either have to bring my PS3 to my bro's house, or maybe tap into my neighbors wireless router.... lol j/k if it's illegal or something.

I'm still downloading Infamous, still trying to decide between LBP, Wipeout or Dead Nation for my 2nd game. I have three accounts on my PS3 and I've gotten the welcome back offer on on three, so hopefully I can download the free games for each one.

^You can. I got four games with two accounts, and I have a friend who got all five between the three her and her husband have. The games will work as long as you don't delete the accounts from your PS3.

Played Wipeout and wasn't impressed. I might try it again, but I don't see it hanging around long. Dead Nation is pretty fun; reminds me of an old school game like Contra. I know I don't like inFamous, so it'll be the last one I get to, if I ever do. Hopefully LBP isn't as gay as it looks/sounds.

What can I say, that's the general consensus about it among the people on my friends list, even the girls . It always looked like a kiddy game to me. I'll still check it out, but I have my doubts going into it.
