I really do hope they do something great. It doesn't look like they're going the Resident Evil route and taking out all "horror" aspects in an effort to make it an action game. So that's good. I also hope they take direction from the first Silent Hill as far as the horror aspect. A lot of the scenes in that game still get to me.

As a matter of fact I remember when I first played Silent Hill. I remember playing through the 2nd floor basement of the hospital then quickly getting killed. When I restarted I remember being too scared to go back there so I just stared at the TV until I mustered up courage. :rofl: Kind of hilarious to think about it now, but I do remember being scared out of my mind at the time.

Kojima, Del Toro, and Daryl? Fuck yeah!

The first time I played Silent Hill was in my grandfather's house which was already spooky and always super dark to save on power. Game scared the crap out of me the way it used the fog.
