i just sold my 2 week old copy of madden 07 ps2 on ebay for $62 shipped.

i spent $52 for it brand new the day it came out.

Anybody who plays Madden for ps2 know how to QB slide? Some guy online keeps doing it to my buddy and we havent figured it out

 

lol...it's not like a secret move or something. Lightly press the square button.

 

I keep doing that in practice mode and vick keeps diving, maybe Im still pushing too hard

 

Yea xboxs version is the same as last years. Excatly the same. 360 version rocks ive been playing it all the time.

 

Don't know...try pressing it lighter than you are. What kind of controller are you using? I had to change the way I pressed it when I switched to Logitech controllers. Instead of pressing it with the tip of my finger, I have to flatten out my thumb a bit and press it that way. I also press more of the edge of the button when I want to slide my QB with Logitechs.

 

I tried everything in practice mode, pushing it so lightly that it took 3 tries to finally trigger it, still dived. I use more of a flat thumb but I treid everything, my friend called me saying it was working for him with Vick so Its gotta be me. My controller is just the sony black ps2 controller, maybe ill try my old grey ps controller

 

Well, as much as I disliked Madden b/c of the lack of features on the 360, the gameplay itself was good and the graphics are just sick... so I purchased another copy off of eBay for a killer price ($42 shipped) since most of my friends are staying with the 360 version and that is who I play online against.

Wouldn't you know that I get it yesterday, open it last night, and the disc is scratched. Like a ring around the disc. Very odd. The game was factory sealed (wrapped and all security and certificate stickers attached, so not sure if it's a defect or the disc popped loose during shipment... but I think it's a sign that I just just stick with the PS2 version

 

Anyone play this still online? I just got my PS2 hooked back up with a network adapter.
