yea thats the actual res i run it at (1280x768), but stretch to 1680x1050....not as crisp but still awesome.

man half life 2 was such a great game.. im just sad i beat that game so fast :sad:

I saw a couple of SRWOG2 .gifs there.

yeah SRW is cool, i haven't gotten into the recent games. I mostly play the roms when I get the chance.
A friend on my forum is really into it so thats where I got the gifs from.

I am a huge SRW fan myself...

OG2 looks great as a GBA game, but the gameplay is terrible.(unbalanced difficulty, even though I have no problem to beat it. It was quite annoying to play in the last few stages.)

I have already told all SRW noobs I know to stay away from this game.

I used this one for years at work.

wow, what an unexpected treat. looks like our friends at Sony have had quite a few tricks waiting up their sleeves... nice to see them applying the added firepower to adding (considerably) more cars to the field..

check the Game Demo showcase video on that page too.... nice to hear real-sounding F1 cars on PS3 :) parts of the video were bunk ass though - especially the movement of the F1 cars at certain points.... looked quite strange.

car sounds sound vastly improved in GT5. Killzone demo was quite sweet. MSZ they've also got a nice demo of your Gundam game.

yea i noticed the cars sounded better too.. you know what i was thinking polyphony was in the middle of developing GT4 and then started focus on GT5 for PS3 and they only really finished GT4 cause they wanted to keep the fans still interested in the series :dunno: :2cents: :shrug:

very possible. Also, it seems clear that the realism of aspects such as sound were limited by the PS2's hardware, seeing how they bust this GT5 demo out like nothing and it has sweet sound in it.

New GT must be about online play. that's where the inhouse dev of the cell is gonna shine. Ability for a true multiplayer online environment with superior graphics and realism. 16 cars....should be fun. However the pit stop stuff is pretty neat.
Glad to see they are so far ahead in the development. I've read they've had the dev kits for about 2 months now. ;) Right around the release of GT4. lol.... No wonder they held the online functionality back for the new PS. They'll be able to debute new sony online gaming etc., w/ new hardware and better graphics, sound etc.,

Pit stop stuff looked great....the rest looked ok not too impressive...I bet it will be much better when we see the finished product.

:agree: - the only thing that really impressed me about GT5 from that video was the upgrade in the sounds and the additional cars...

Don't worry. If GT5 is like GT4 and GT3, you MIGHT play this before the end of the decade.
