Nintendo Sued Over Wiimote

http://blog.wired.com/games/2006/12/...do_sued_o.html

Look at these happy smiling people! They don't know that Nintendo's being sued over the Wii-mote. Next-Gen reports that a California company called Interlink Electronics is taking Nintendo to court, claiming that the motion-tracking controller infringes on this patent for a "Trigger Operated Electronic Device".

I'm no patent lawyer but they'll probably get their asses handed to them if this goes to court. Mostly because the product described in the filing would seem to bear little to no resemblance to the Wiimote. Worst case scenario, Nintendo ends up paying them some money to go away.

lol, this won't go anywhere. as stated above, the only thing similar between these two products is they are remote shaped.
