Limerock + Ferrari = Fun!

No particular reason for the post, other than I've simply been having a blast on this little track.

sweet!! I think I need to race that too.

I got a bunch of new tracks the other day - I can contently say that I won't be complaining about lack of tracks anymore.... Nurburgring (kinda funky though compared to GT4), Road Atlanta, that Mo I Rana track is NICE, a few more. I'll send you links.

hey Billiam if you remember I complained about the force feedback in the other thread. Well I tried clicking the "Reverse Effects" button for force - and it is great now. I think this is how it should be. Check it out.

So you kept the DFP, eh? You had the Red Momo before, right? That's what I have. Is there a noticeable difference?

Regarding the FF, I've had reverse effects checked from the beginning. I must have read to do that somewhere when I first got the game.

I still have the red Momo, just hadn't hooked it up. The red Momo is by far better. But the DFP ain't bad. The pedals are WAY better on the red one - the base is much more sturdy and as you know each pedal moves separately, apart from the main motion, like on a real car. Not the case with the DFP, the pedals are fixed. And just the general construction of the red Momo is unparalleled for a standard commercial unit. The paddle shifters are WAY better on the red Momo - the steering wheel itself is good on both, I like the red Momo feel but I also like the DFP's feel. The DFP has WAY more buttons than the red Momo. Couting the paddle shifters, D-pad, and shifter as buttons, the DFP has 18. Counting the paddle shifters on the Momo, it has 8. That is a BIG plus especially for games such as GTR that have a crazy number of assignable options for buttons. In terms of gameplay, the DFP feels like its sturdier while playing - feels more solid. But the Momo is better construction I'm sure. The shifter on the DFP feels really cheap, I wish they would have made it a little more solid. Of course the Momo doesn't have one. I would have to try the Momo with GTR to comment on the force feedback. Maybe I'll try that later this week.
