lol...wow...never really got into fps like that on consoles...but lots of stuff on halo 3 is out...i ahve to try online iwth someone before i take the dive...what's it like when compared to the likes of rfom?

PLH: It's the greatest game...evar. Well, from reputed sources and etc. etc. I have no first-hand experience since I've kinda refused to buy it and join the bandwagon.

youse a poseur yummychan? I've heard it is awesome from everyone...but then again everyone who told me that about perfect dark said the same and I hated perfect dark. But then again, i heard the same about rfom and i fell in love after about an hour of playin the demo..

Naw...I honestly would be more enthusiastic about a killer-app game on a console if it weren't a freaking FPS.

I played GoW over last Xmas at my buddy's and although I enjoyed it, I still wasn't hyped...to the same way that a good platformer, strategy game, or 3rd person action (i.e. NG, MGS, DMC) would do for me.

Just isn't my thing.

And as I revealed to Sly and Moog, the Grand Theft Auto series also does zippo for me. Just don't find what's so kick@$$ about it.

I'm with ya there...GTA was cool for the first week, but i got sick real quick...3rd person action is always way better for me...i like seeing the characters onscreen...i have heard much hype over gears of war too...especially with that huge controller they have for it...I wish there were some sort of mech type game with controls similar to virtual on...that game used to be the shit!!!

yeh, i may pick up a 360 down the line when it drops...i recentlypicked up a used xbox cuz I wanted to try ninja gaiden black...sort of a disappointment compared to sigma...

so my buddy is picking up halo 3 tonight and I am gonna go play...if it is as groundbreaking as it's supposed to be..I'll pick up the 360 first thing after work tomorrow...
