I bought the strategy guide. I'm not even really into video games, but this game freakin OWNZ me.

 

What does it take to start getting high respect?

 

that girlfriend keeps calling me and bitching about how I never hang out. so last night i picked her up, then drove down to the pier and launched the car off the end of the pier with her in it. somehow she still rolled out and popped back up on the pier. so I shot her point blank in the face with the shotgun...and it just says 'your date is over' and she ran away. I shot her a bunch more but she kept running.

sucks you can't kill her.

 

Yeah i figured that and now i keep trying to kill them on one pass shots. Still need more practice though.

 

Once you get kicked out of Los Santos that area is kinda dead for now. You will eventually return though.

I'm only at the save sweets and his girl mission. How much longer till I get tanks and get to steal others turf?

 

I was able to start taking over other territories the 2nd day I was playing the game...so its pretty early. I think you have to finish a couple of the OG missions.


I don't have any missions anymore...all of a sudden there are none on the map except another lowrider competition. What the hell happened? Do I have to take over every gang territory first or something? I played 3 hours last night and no new missions came up...

 

I just finished the mission where you have to sneak in the Colonels house and take all his shit. Then you steal more armory off a train and throw the boxes to Ryder. Took me 3 tries. Lets see what i get into tonight.

how do you fuck the hookers?

 

You don't need to take over all of the map to advance. I only took over that one section where the first gang war took place at and i still advanced out to the badlands. Don't forget some missions are only available at night between like 8pm-6am.

 

just pull up next to them and when they say 'do you want a good time' hit right on the non-analog controller thing.

 

Don't forget to kill them and take back that money though.

Just like in real life.

 

weird. I've gone through a bunch of full days/nights with nothing new. maybe I need to do this lowrider mission....

anyone using the cheats? I've never used cheats on a game but think they may be needed on this one

how do you gain a new territory?

 

I think you have to finish some missions for og loc or whatever first...but then...

yeah its the OG missions, after house party.

MIGHT be the first CRASH mission.


but most people follow the SWEET > RYDER > SMOKE > OG path I think.

even thou you CAN skip most of sweet and all of ryder to get through OG Loc.

still, i like to be thorough. i dont like skipping shit

 

dont use cheats.

if you cheat you cant unlock 100% of the game.

I need some advice please, can I jump on top of the train????

 

I already did, and now i'm fucked. I'm rich as hell, but I have a rhino stuck in my garage. But I own like 6 houses, including one in the valley that was 120k!

 

... get an AK47... race ahead of the train. jump off your bike. shoot the mexicans as the train comes towards you.

if you do this quick... as in before the train hits the car in the middle of the tracks... youll have plenty of time to kill all the mexicans in the first try.

the train slows down a good bit when it hits the car.


the closest AK-47 is in one of the buildings at Ocean Docks... right near Union Station.


the key really is just to kill them yourself. smoke sucks and cant shoot for shit. useless.

 

me either...thats why this is taking me so long. I want to do everything and go everywhere before I move on...


is that the one where you chase down those 4 dudes who stand on the train? if thats it... don't get too close to the train. if you get right next to it the bullets just hit the side of the train and you can't hit the guys.

anyone every stolen the liear jet and flown to unlocked cities??? I did and got blown out of the sky by some heat seekin missles.I also hijacked the train and derailed it.I like this game but don't recommend it to minors or weak minded people.

 

yeah. that learjet is diesal too.....

fucking harrier hit me with two missiles and still couldn't take me out.... so it crashed into me!!!

 

if you fly or swim to las venturas and quickly get in a car or something, its very easy to explore the entire city even with cops on your tail, it seems in this game, 4 stars of wanted level doesnt really make them that aggressive, i drove around las venturas with cops after me and 4 stars for like 15 minutes, saw the entire place...then jumped back in the water and headed back to los santos and my wanted level went down to 3 and then i just grabbed a car in los santos and went to the paint and spray, end of wanted level.....ive yet to see anything more than 4 stars, the cops are pussies in this game....alot easier to deal with than GTA 3 and Vice City...

 

 

I've used the cheat codes to get my wanted level to 6 stars. They stuck the FBI, Swat, and a shitload of tanks on my ass.
