From Wired...
We may never see another Marvel vs. Capcom. But anime otaku the world over should jump at the chance to pit Ryu and Chun-Li versus some of their favorite animated heroes.
This week's issue of Weekly Famitsu will include details on Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes. The arcade game, set to come out this winter in Japan, will have Capcom's fighting characters face of against characters from various properties of famed animation studio Tatsunoko.
Confirmed characters on the Tatsunoko side of things include G-Force's Ken, Casshern (also known as Casshan), and one of the mecha from the Yatterman series.
If you're a child of the eighties, then you can't help but be excited about the prospect of battling with characters from G-Force (or Battle of the Planets, as it was also known). Here's hoping the villainess Zoltar makes it into the game.

Too bad it'll never happen...but, DC vs. Capcom would be a great game.

My friend has a modded Wii and I got to play one game of this. I would love to give a full review and break down but there are certain issues why I can't. First issue is that my friend who downloaded this is legally blind and very slowly recovering vision in his eye so he can barely see anything. Second issue is that since he lives in the next county I rarely go to his house.
My Wii can't play modded games so he came to my house last weekend and brought his. We were going through a bunch of different games that he downloaded and our wives were playing too so I was able to do one quick match. I used Ryu and Morrigan.
Now the problem is that with the Wiimote and nunchuk the buttons are mapped weird. A was to hit. In other words, light kick, light punch, hard kick, or hard punch depending on what the computer wanted to do. B was the special move button. If I pushed it while on the ground I'd either do a dragon punch or throw a fireball. If I did a special motion and hitting A then I would do my special. The trigger buttons on the nunchuk were the same as the Wiimote where one reflected A and the other B. I can't remap the buttons because I can't read Japanese.
The play control played like every other Street Fighter crossover. Obviously it wouldn't change much so I was happy.
The graphics were pretty out of hand even for the Wii. I was able to get off a couple of super fireballs and a super "dragon punch" for Morrigan and the graphics were sick.
I promise I will try to play more when I go to his house. However he's getting Samurai Showdown Anthology on Friday and he has a modded 360 also so its hard to stick to one game.

^ Thanks for the review, Doom! I wish this game could get ported over...I'd get a Wii for sure because of it.

^ This game is not only SF-related...which is a requirement for any who owns a console. BUT, it has all the great cartoon characters like Yattawan, Gatchaman, and Gold Lightan. So, you MUST own this...
Or I'm calling you Connie Chung.
