^yeah I saw that today, very interesting. especially if it lives up to it's claimed 8-10hr battery life.

DDR3 and Core2Duo processor instead of an Atom is quite nice. It won't have the quality screen that the Air has or the insanely thin body but that shit doesn't matter to me. I've now added this to my insanely long list of which laptop to buy.

I think this will be my next laptop purchase. I need a solid laptop with at least 5-6+ hrs of battery life for under $1K that this Acer will do just nicely.
