Trying to outrun bounties can be a blast.
I always go for a helicopter then start doing bombing runs to get people on my back then land at the top of the construction building and try to buy my time up there. I haven't survived yet but it is always a good time.

whats fun is that you get one star, a big building to climb and only one way to get in and out through a step ladder then start tazing cops while coming up the ladder. your stars won't go up.

You do. I don't remember how much, but it was like $1k-$2k. Definitely not the $10k like if you race against other people, but you can still stack some cash quickly.



I only did this for an hour or so one day, going through different races. I ranked mostly by doing missions 2x. You get a lot of RP for killing enemies and then completing the mission. Once I started doing survivals, it was easy ranking and money. I still do missions, though, because they get better the higher you rank up.

Good to hear the stimulus hit. I didn't play last night, but have been looking for it. Was originally going to use it to buy a place, but got tired of waiting and bought a 10-car garage the other day. Now I can blow the stimulus on cars. I was a little peeved to discover that you can't just park any ol' car in your garage, though. Why the fuck would I want to buy a car when I can just find a car? Not very GTA-esque, if you ask me.

I can see both sides. A part of me says "It's called GRAND THEFT AUTO. Why the hell do I have to buy cars?", but then I realize that if all the cars were free, then the only thing we would spend money on is ammo and (usually) a one-time apartment purchase since we can't buy investment properties.

I see that, but there comes a point where money does nothing because you have so much. So why bother in the first place? If you like the game, you're going to play it without some incentive. It's like in SR2...I'm #2 on two leaderboards and can't get any higher (#1 is too far out). There's nothing to accomplish at all, but I still play because I like it.

Out of curiosity, since you mention "(usually) a one-time apartment purchase", if you have more than one place, can you put cars in the different garages, and thus have 20, 30, however many cars?

Newest addition to the garage is my Impreza on ce28s. Sold the laguna secca blue 7 series to make this addition. Needed a sedan so this worked great.

Agreed on having cars everyone does. That is why I picked up the Monroe as well as my Rat-Loader. Everytime I drive the rat rod pick up people try to take it. hahaha I need to put a bomb in that ignition.

A friend on-line says he plants bombs in motorcycles then leaves them like a bait car where he can watch from his apartment window.
People cant resist a Bati just sitting there. Stock is better because someone people bounce when they think its owned.
