I stopped. I'm barely home for the past few weeks. Plus I got really pissed off at Rockstar. They sent some BS update and I've lost my main missions. My map is empty and there is nothing to do. They are suggesting me to start from scratch. At 60% completion, they can suck it.

Ive got a chopper and charger I dont care about that will be replaced with the Karin Rebel and Karin Sultan RS as I find them. Rebel for sure... may replace the Sultan with another Supercar... either the Monroe or Stinger... Anyone drive the Z Type and enjoy the handling?

Try doing more races and missions. I have not got the hang of finding good missions but my buddy knows where they are and will invite me. After 5 missions you can bank 50,000 easily.
With races I found myself playing for an hour with back to back races in a group of 4 and we were hitting triple digits.

Survivals and death matches are fun but you don't make much money for the time and ammo spent. Gang wars you can net 2grand alone in 5 minutes but you have to look around for the cash drops. Simeon's special cars will get you anywhere from a couple grand to upwards of 8grand.

For quick cash rob stores for 1-2grand as well as sell random cars you find for 2-5grand.

Betting is a good way to make cash especially if you play with someone at a higher rank that always wins. Sometimes it is better to bet all your cash on them then get second and make sure they get first... or bet on yourself if you are the one winning but keep in mind you can lose bets.

If their room is already full you wont be able to join them.
I tend to play with my close friends online more than Azoo. I should change that.

I played most of the day yesterday and some of today and have about $350k in the bank, even after modding a few of my cars.

I'm trying to decide if I want to use the stimulus money to buy a new car (probably the Koenigsegg looking one) or if I want to buy a new apartment that has a helipad on top.

I don't plan on buying a helicopter. If/when I get an apartment with a helipad, I'll just steal a Buzzard and park it there, just like the garage works.

I assume you missed my entire post directed to you. $1000 can be made in last place off ONE race with ONE lap with ONE opponent. If you are netting 1g an hour you are doing it wrong.

Races are boring but if you can get one or two other people to race with you, one lap around certain courses can net you $10k for first place, and the race lasts about 1.5 minutes. Instead of going back to freeroam, hit replay and take turns on who wins. Do that back and forth and you'll easily rack up cash.

Cars worth finding and selling are the Jaguars, Range Rovers, Escalades, 7-series, and the Maserati coupe. There might be a few I left off but those are the ones I always go for. I have a 10-car garage but only use 9 slots so I can keep a car to sell. The FIRST thing I do when starting the game is to sell a car. As soon as I sell one, I find another one, and put it in my garage. I wait about 40 minutes real-time and do it all over again.

Get a helicopter and rob the stores with it. Park it outside, hold up the store without shooting, and hop in the helicopter to get away. The police will not use helicopters when you just have 2 stars, that's why the helicopter is key.

Yup, picked up on the heli trick early on. Got to the point where I was getting 4 stars, so I put it on hold. I have been trying to do the higher paying jobs only, like Violent Duct and No Hay Bronca. The cars are a hit and miss thing, you know how Rockstar spawns certain cars - you'll get like three million 70s Caprices.

Will have to try the races, because what I'm doing now isn't working. I only have about $66k, so no garage for me yet.

Go into a survival with higher ranked players who have unlocked them. Win it. $20k. Wash, rinse, repeat. Even if you don't survive to level 10, you can still make decent money. Other than that, as Jon said, go into a race by yourself (Down the Drain is a good one), set for one lap, win every time, stack cash. Another way is do every mission twice...once by yourself, and once with a friend (ie. use your mission for you, their mission for the both of you )...or do them both together.

You are right, the money is hard to come by early on; it's annoying, but it gets better. If you want more exciting missions, play some with higher ranked players.

Yeah, some dude whose car I jacked put one on me. Ironically, I was in solo sessions or missions with friends afterwards, so I never had to run...just got $5k for eventually surviving

Use the website from the phone...you can scroll through all of the properties, see the details and location, and get a GPS route...much better than driving around and trying to find places.


I usually don't, either...they're full of annoying fags. We went back to free roam yesterday into a regular session. We were discussing what to do next when some homo and his gay buddy came up in a chopper and started shooting at us. We eventually shot him down. He was mad , but still annoying to deal with. Solo sessions, friends only sessions, and passive mode FTW.

I dont believe you make any money if you race yourself. But with one opponent you both make at least 2grand for finishing. First place gets double. One lap in down the drain takes 2 minutes. On bikes, it is pretty fun in my opinion.

I also ranked much quicker with races.
Maybe TSXy will chime in with his way of making cash. I personally did races not stop and it worked for me. With a 10 car garage, 8 slots filled with cars I want, none stock. I am happy.


I love public sessions. Sure I get gunned down a lot while just driving into a LS Customs but who cares? As long as I have my money in the bank I just mash the re spawn button, equip my AK, and have a good day. Usually it starts a little deathmatch with that player. Sometimes getting other players involved, sometimes getting police involved. I have once even jumped in the car of the guy I just killed for previously killing me and we eluded the cops together. I got out and capd his ass. hahaha Shit is fun.

I got a bounty the other day and hid from a guy in a chopper. He landed and I gunned him down as he was getting out, he had no chance. I hijacked his heli and tried to get away only to have the chopper smoking and sputtering. I landed ontop of that huge construction building in the middle of LS. If you have been up there the layout description will make sense. I landed on the larger lower level. I climb the 5 story scaffolding to find another player at the top with a bounty. He opens fire and I jump off back down to the lower level. I hide behind some pillars and gun him down as he comes looking for me.
I kill two more guys trying to get to me climbing the crane and using a heli.
A third guy was able to parachute in with passive mode on then switch out and was able to gun me down. Regardless of losing the bounty, it was a lot of fun.

That's awesome.

I enjoy driving and flying around the city more than running around shooting people, so public lobbies do nothing but infuriate me.

Also, like Chill Dog said earlier, "Down the Drain" is the best race to do. With three players doing one lap which lasts a little over per minute, first place gets $10,300, second gets around $5500, and third gets about $3800. Plus it gives lots of experience points.

Yes sir, I believe I mentioned Down the Drain earlier. My buddy and I got tired of it because we learned all the tricks to it. It became a game of who can be in second place right after the last turn in order to draft around first place at the last second. Was funny as hell when other players get in our race and we do that to them and they lose last second. hahaha

But each race is pretty quick on one lap. We would do one lap of each race 2-3 times then switch to a new race, switching it up from super cars to muscle cars to motorcycles... jet races are fun to and the added dog fight makes it interesting. haha Only race I dont care for are sea races. Even bike races are a lot of fun if everyone chooses the same bike... p.s. the street bike will dominate even in dirt.
