my Xbox died, I think. After running for a few mins, it freezes and I get white vertical lines. W T F

Three Wheelin'
Was extremely fortunate to buy the last copy of the Special Edition at a local Target! I'll be playing this as soon as I'm done moving into my new apartment!
I've also joined the Azine Zoo. Can't wait to blow up stuff with you guys!

So far my favorite part of the game is going to CJ's old hood and starting a gang war with Ballas fucks, payback for taking over the hood, then taking their primo lowrider, changing the paint to green and parking it in the garage.. Grove Street 4 Lyfe

I don't see why not - it should not be difficult to port it from PC version and get it looking about as good.

No resoldering, it's a BGA. You heat the chip to seat the pads (reflow). Some dumb kids have attempted a hillbilly method by blocking the vents and wrapping the xbox, then turning it on, letting it overheat until the thermal fuse trips. I don't condone this method but if you're not savvy with electrical components, or don't have the tools to fix it, food for thought.
I don't like this method because the heat is inconsistent and the heat sink is still clamped so a, it might not get hot enough and b, the sink could warp the seat of the chip during the peak to cool down transition. There are probably shops that properly do a reflow for $20-40, but pick a good one. You don't want to pay a kid $20 to put his sisters blow dryer on your board or wrap it with a towel.

^ You've been on this forum long enough to know I'm a certified computer geek for life. I'll use the heat gun. We shall see. Thanks!

You need a hollow tipped torx screwdriver set.. I think T8 is the main one you'll need. Get a long one too to get a bit more torque on the long ones.

Yep, sounds good. I have my xbox xkyed so I'll dig into familiar territory. But for now it began working again, so I've played the mission with a smile on my face and thoughts: no, not today.. not today!

So, I heard the armored tank is attainable. Any of you kids attempt to get it?

That's pretty cool. I'd buy this game if I didn't have parenting duties. And Arkham Origins awaits soon...
