what's cool about COD4 multiplayer... is there's really no specific spawning spot... you get re-spawned near your teammates, wherever that may be... so there's NO spawn camping, not really anyway....

just pick'd up my copy @ GameStop and it came with a multiplayer map booklet... which helps A LOT... make sure they give you one cuz I was walking out when the guy realized that he had forgotten to include it... it might be a "while supply last" kind of thing...

multiplayer COD4 kills Halo 3 and Team Fortress 2 orange box. looks pretty damn good. If I only had time to waste on this game daily...

Picked it up today from Circuity City.

If you buy it from them, you get COD 3 for FREE! They ran out of COD 3 copies, so they let me pick out any game that costs $29.99 or less (picked up Castlevania: Dracula Chronicles for the PSP).

Will be firing up COD 4 when I get home from MN on Friday

ive been owning, ranked @ 24 master gunnery sgt first class @ about 5.5 hours gameplay. 30 wins, 17 loses, most of which were free for all wins. (team DM wins count also even if your not in first)

I love the perks and challenges.

i am a ssg class II with 4.5 hours. last nite i went from private first class to staff Sargent. you get a lot more exp points on the team DM. there is dudes that are Colonels already, I do not see how that is possible unless u play 24/7. i have only done a couple missions on the campaign, the rest time is online multiplayer. extremely fun.

I think most people are... there's some people that are kickin' ass... but the rest are just kinda lost and trying to get to know the maps... at least for now. I'm doing the right thing this time by going straight to multiplayer... rather than playing single first... cuz usually by the time I'm done with MP, everybody's already familiar with the maps...

It's FUCKING AWESOME!! The graphic are awsome, the gameplay awesome, I loved when I got to control the ac-130 gunship and you get to shoot little guys from a couple thousand feet in the air and watching them go flying!! So far the storyline is good, i almost feel like I'm there!!

Two things this is missing:

Cover system like GoW
Vehicles like Halo3

Other than that this is a great game.

IIRC a substantial number of previous CoD game players told Infinity Ward to just forget about vehicles when they solicited input early in the development cycle.

Graphics, game play, unlocking "perks" with experience points. Different missions (more so than say SOCOM or HALO), graphics, sound, and graphics.

Rides and cover system would have been nice though.
