spent some time in a tank and other vehicle, it was fun but I probably wouldn't spend long amounts of time inside. need to try heli. did even better this round, I won't post any more for a while. ;p

I just got 2000 points in some desert map. I used the mounted AT rocket launcher and the mounted AA gun, and destroyed like 4 helicopters and 4 tanks 
And this game looks AMAAAAAAZING on full settings on PC, but mine can't run it at full specs. SLI here I come!

ugh... the exposure is so f*cked up on this snow level.... if you're inside a building, all the windows just look WHITE. its stupid

so far it feels more realistic but it doesnt feel as fun as COD.. I mean like, fun factor. and maybe there are more levels later but for the squad DM, there are only 4. and, not a big deal, but there's no FFA. maybe it'll get better after playing for a while.
but for now, I'm still looking forward to the new COD maps.

oh just saw i got the LTD edition that has "6 multiplayer unlocks". but I dont know what those are, and I cant get into the store, it says its unavailable. in the game it says theres some issue with the store right now, and they are working on it.

but when i played 2 days ago after playing bad company.. i waiting to see the explosions.. and the bodies flying.. and its just kind of ... "tame"
but i love both games... but for now im sticking to Battlefield.. they got their shit right on this one

yeah i still like COD too. incidentally the reason I played it again last night, a few of my friends (the ones who used to be noobs) invited me into their private match. I havent played them in a long while, they are now at lvl 56. I think they were expecting to be closer to my level in play (which aint even all that) but sadly they were mistaken. 
Played about 8 FFA's and several TDM, Domination, I just kept raping and pillaging... they could not even come close.

^ditto... mainly because it doesnt have that stupid figure-8 motion!!! it's rock solid. I've never tried a sniper rifle in real life so I dont know how it is, but i will tell you this, I am quite certain if I did, I wouldn't be doing a figure-8 with it in the sight I do like the EBR with silencer on COD though.
I was totally hooked after I got my first few bullet drops.

I tried looking it up but didn't find anything apparent.. can someone tell me how to use that soccerball looking recon thing?
oh and C4 is baaad ass (with recon (sniper)). for engineer, you get various AR's and SMG's as your primary, handguns are your secondary, and you ALSO get FOUR RPG's. generous! With random spawn, sometimes itll put you right behind where enemies are sniping. I had a hell of a time RPG'ing the hell out of some rooftops from a perch above in mountainous area!

The soccer ball thing is a motion sensor. It makes a loud beeping noise when anything moves nearby, even you. The idea is to throw it down if you're gonna be sitting in one spot, but it doesn't last that long
The RPGs take so long to reload though, which sucks, and don't do much damage vs people. The carl gustav launcher does hella damage vs infantry though. I can't wait to unlock that

ive had pretty good success with RPG against people 
I did find you have to make it hit pretty close to them, though.

the guy i play with is always a medic. so we make a great combo with the assault (ammo) and the medic (health).
we won a 4 team deathmatch after our 2 teamates bailed at the beggining. teamwork ftw.

maybe not quite a figure 8, but the sight will be swaying around when you breathe in and out and what not.

2 additional things I really love about this game compared to COD - 1) everything is destructible, and 2) also you can get up to really high points on the maps. Awesome vantage points for great sniping. with the destructiveness, rooftops and such can be destroyed giving you new sniping angles, things like that. I just played 3 squad DM's at the snow level and it didn't bother me as much now, I think I was in a kind of bad mood the other day lol.
one thing I don't like and don't understand why they don't have it, is prone. I mean given the game wants to be realistic, why the f can't you lie down???

I have to say, this game trumps MW 2. There is no substitute! Picked it up yesterday and I'm amazed at how awesome the story is playing out so far...stuck in the snow killing the Russians so far.

i played COD tonight for the first time in a few days, after playing a good amount of BC2. control and experience-wise, it felt like getting into an Impala, after spending a day driving an F1 car. 
it was really pretty bad.

I loved sniping in bf1943. Hated sniping in COD. Why snipe when it's easier to just use....anything else really.

The second time I lasted much longer, probably about 10 minutes. I was just practicing but I found it tough to kill anything. I mean, I couldn't see any guys moving to kill them.
I feel like getting this for PC, I feel like it would be more enjoyable.

It came in the mail today! But I haven't played it yet
Came home to find it arrived, even though I expected it to be here Saturday. That's always a nice surprise. I'm going to get a shitload of playtime in before I go snowboarding this weekend and get withdrawals.I'll throw in my opinion of the game later...

I just beat the campaign. Easier than MW2, but frustrating at parts because the teammate AI blows balls. Sometimes they'd just stand there while I advance, having to take on 4-5 enemies in different locations all at once. I prefer the controls of MW2, and the perk system but BC2 is more realistic, and blowing shit up is good fun. I like that they have vehicles too
I would add in a comment or two about multiplayer but I can't join any games. What gives? I go to quick match, then I tried Rush or conquest, Squad DM, and it searches for a game but it never puts me into one. It just says STAND BY.... SEARCHING FOR GAMES. then it goes back to the multiplayer screen. I am very confused.... or are the servers or whatever down at the moment?

Nevermind, I just noticed the little scrolling newscaster thing at the bottom. It says servers will be down for maintenance....
